I do! I've watched it before it was alright, just got tired of watching it after a while.

I watched the anime for a while, then I just stuck to the manga. Typical sports shonen about tennis obviously, nothing too deep. Some good characters… the anime really gets out of hand and nose dives when it breaks off from the manga storyline though in my opinion. Ring ni Kakero (:rolleyes:) styled attacks and such... I really despised that style change from the anime.
But it is entertaining, I'd put it on the same category as ES21 with a bit less comedy.

My favorite characters are Inui, Kaidoh, and Kawamura (Burning!).

Not really into the series, but my friend's obsessed. Kaidoh's probably my favourite character, though :lol:

i'd say that people should watch the anime up to ep 129, then it sucks, it's the right time to start reading the manga after that.

its a rather unique anime/manga series. its not the usual " i'm going to be the champion" type of sports series but actual " i wanna whoop my dad's ass so that he'll respect the game i play"

Where can i get my hands on the PoT manga? I've seen PoT anime up to 150 but I have no idea how to get the PoT manga.

I've seen up to 76 so far, and I'm loving it. I'm going to get around to reading the manga soon, hopefully. How different are the anime and manga?

Just watched #165 and i have to say that it's the strangest thing i've seen from it.
I've always wanted to read the manga but i've never really gotten round to it.

[snapback]60901[/snapback]They are so vastly different there's no real basis for comparison anymore. Everything after episode 68 is different from the manga but follows the same storyline slightly, but it goes completely off on its own at episode 130.

Got into the manga version of the series earlier in the week and gotta say this is now my 3rd favorite sports manga behind Ippo & ES.

I just can't get into it. It's like the naruto of sports manga for me.

I own the first volume of the Prince of Tennis manga, it wasn't too bad. The anime got repetitive after a few episodes, so I lost interest.
