Looking at the Franky picture you seem to draw chains a bit oddly, the links aren't as much hooked into each other as a normal chain would be. They are passing through each other in an odd way or welded together defeating the whole purpose of a chain.

Look at your chain and look at a normal chain. On the normal chain the links go through the hole in the other link not through the metal part like it does on the franky pic.
