Smosh is the duo of Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox. They produce a ton of comedy videos on youtube, there most famouse being the Pokemon theme song, which was removed(but is still on Smosh.com)

They won one of the youtube awards for best comedy of 2006 fo their "Short #2: Stranded". They are probably one of the, if not the best video maker.

I cried when I heard the Pokemon theme. I guess this is what people mean when they say "huge nostalgia bomb". ;_;

…

That said, I looked the aforementioned PKMN video and their other one involving Pokemon, I wasn't struck dead laughing like when I saw the Naruto-Sasuke live action duel ages past. Their work is alright I guess for an amateur comedy duo.

Be warned I've seen a lot of media and not much gets me laughing nowadays.

They were interviewed by the news, as seen on Ians profile. That greatly increased them, and there he said there friends saw it, then told more and more people, youtube had people see it around the world, they told there friends, and then the magic happend.
