@King:
Oh shit there's a dead Marine pinned to that sign.
Good eyes, King.
Well – that would explain, in a very unambiguous way, why the Marines never enter that part of the Shabondy Archipelago ...
@boiga:
-Urouge has the largest wings of any humanoid seen so far in the series (save pell). But they are of the swept back variety similar to Gedatsu and Shura and not the vestigial shoulder wings of the native skypians. From this, we can determine that Urouge came from the White Sea, but NOT from the island of Skypiea.
Hmmm. almost seems as if there's a (renegade) priest island up there, where all of these guys came from – having wings and righteous ire in common.
This "truce" between the Rookies has to be enforced. They are afraid of the Marines from Mariejoa and don't want to attract too much attention to them selves. If Luffy attacks a Noble and brings on the wrath of an Admiral, they'll scatter like flies.
Great point! – makes me wonder how many of them have actually had run-ins with the Marines prior to arriving here. In that regard, the Mugiwara have an advantage. This could be a useful strategy.
@Smartz118:
does anyone else think she is related to Dr. Kureha? They do have similar dressing styles and behaviors…
I'm guessing they were on the same crew, and maybe also shared that amazing anti-aging creme, or plastic surgeon or whatever-it-was that keeps them so young and healthy. For some odd reason, she reminds me of Coco Chanel. Must be the way she holds her cigarette …
@archanfel:
Oh on a side note, seeing Kamie's reaction to Shakky's remark about her being Hacchi's lover, can we say there finally is love in OP?
Saddened by the cruel rejections of Octopako, his dream girl, Hachi runs to the loving arms of his little assistant, Kamie …
Or something like that.
Regardless, it was pretty bold of Shakky to say that in front of everyone. Then again, she had no shame in mentioning that Rayleigh would be ok as long as he could find "women and beds" to sleep in each evening.
@Kaizoku-Syn:
Dinty you are amazing
Aww thanks!
@boiga:
It could also be that the entrance to fishman island requires specific timing.
Good point. And since Shakky specifically called it a "tournament", I wouldn't be surprised if the entrance is some sort of puzzle or bottle-neck, and only the ones who figure it out or get there first get through.
It's easy to see why they'd be so antsy while waiting – between the Marines, Nobles, Bounty Hunters and rival crews, the threats never let up. They've got to be on their guard constantly. It's a good thing the Mugiwara are already used having so many different types of enemies coming down on them at once.
EDIT: captainjustin --
I agree, I don't want to see Zoro or Luffy burn out either. But if you think about it, Zoro is already imploding (collapsing on the inside) from his injuries. So he's probably closer to going "supernova" than most of the others at this moment. However, it's probably nothing that sleep and booze can't cure, so if he does get collared by a Noble, let's hope they lock him in a very dark wine cellar, eh?
