who else has played it (ive beat it like 10 times and believe it is the greatest rpg ever made)
Tales of symphonia

It's pretty good. It's also my third-favorite game in the Tales series, second-favorite RPG on the Gamecube, and probably one of the most overrated games of the last generation (right up there with Halo 2).

i proabably would like some other tales games better but as of now ive only played tos and tales of phantasia (the port for the gba which had extreme slowdown in battle) so i like tos better but i might like tota better cuz i heard thats really good (but i dont have a ps2)

I loved Tales of Symphonia. Even though it's the only Tales of game I've played, I really liked it.
-
I'm about halfway through it and it's pretty good, but one of my big problems is figuring out about all the side-quests, I don't know how.
-
I've played a few hours of it. I bought it, Resident Evil 0, and a Gamecube for about $140 bucks. I've barely touched any of it. My heart is stuck to the PS2 and finishing all the great RPG's I haven't. (Like Dragon Quest VIII, probably the greatest game ever made.)

I had finally bought the game last September, and I got as far to that temple in the desert, where you fight some fire dragon-like creatures.
Haven't played it ever since.
RPGs just never seem to last for me anymore. I bought Poke'mon Diamond the day it was released, and so far I've only gotten 4 badges, and it's still my first time through. -
We have a thread here for the whole Tales series, let me dig it up

Here we go, have fun

Ah, it's just a bad habit of mine with RPGs. I just suddenly loose interest in it, just 'cause I don't have time for them anymore.
-
I think I still have my super clear data on the GC… I got to like level 115 with my guys and bought all the grade shop bonuses except for 10x EXP I think. Still had a few of the really insane titles to achieve though.

It's lame. Played it. As Lazzie said it's probably the most overrated game last gen. Only got it's vocal following from RPG starved Nintendo fanboys who hated turn based games too much to enjoy the far better Skies of Arcadia remake.

I've been looking all over for Skies. It's bugging the crap out of me. I've even seen it for 7 bucks. It just disappeared before I could claim it.
I like this game, though. I also like turn-based, but I prefer this kind of battle system. When it comes to RPGs for me, it's about 50% story, 50% whether it's fun or not. This was really fun and had an okay storyline. A winner for me.

Don't feel bad.
I can't find Skies of Aracadia, either. -
I like this and Skies of Arcadia actually.
