So far 3 volumes of Shin have been scanlated as well as 2 for both the original and Legends series. I recall being an anime for it and so I might watch this series after I finish what I'm watching.
Tho I have vague memories of it, it's pretty neat series.
I used to have the first two volumes that were released in English way back in the early 90s. They were surprisingly prescient in terms of what the industry would later come to accept: subtitled SFX rather than replaced SFX, reading right to left, etc.
As far the story itself, it's pretty corny but all in good fun. Very reminiscent of early Dragon Ball. Of course I haven't bothered to read all 30+ books of Chinmi and then another 20 or so of Shin Tekken Chinmi, so who knows how it might have changed…
