I kinda wanna know why there's people who bash the Silent Hill movie. From my experience not only did it capture the game but was a great film for others who haven't played it. Like me.

Well from people who haven't familiarized themselves with the original work that's to be expected, but for people like me who have
(Haven't played a SH game) seeing any major or somewhat minor changes
made to the film adaptation is going to draw a lot of negative feedback.

About Final Fantasy Advent Children.. SO MANY people talk "smack" about it. But in all honestly, it was a good movie. Yes they could have done more with plot, comedy, character development, etc.. But atleast the action and visuals were well done. It was pure art.
And you guys have seen the Korean Live Action Music video of the "Final Fantasy Advent Children Tifa church fight scene", right?

Wow the collective FFVII fanbase can't be satisfied?
I think people speak ill of Advent Children because only a handful of characters had any particular good use. Now I'm a Red XIII fan, and I was disappointed not only by his limited role in the film but his limited screen time.
All in all, Advent Children wasn't a FF movie, it was a Cloud Strife movie.

Whiplash was a game about an insane weasel and an indestructible rabbit who are chained together who must escape a building that performs cruel experiments on them.
I have only seen two video game movie I didn't like, and that was House of the Dead and Advent Children (I never liked Final Fantasy anyways). I thought Super Mario Bros was ok. To enjoy it, just forget everything you know about the Mario games and watch it like it's a stand alone video. I loved the Silent Hill movie, only because of Pyramid Head, anything with him in it I'll watch.
