Well, we know that the Straw Hat Pirates will fight the Tenryuubito, if that happens, an Admiral appears. I so want to see Akainu, which Admiral do you want to see, appears?

On a slightly related note, given Akainu's connection to Ohara it's possible that his introduction could finally give us Robin's number chapter.

Personally, since the three Admirals and the seven Warlords are needed to keep the four Emperors from causing too much chaos, I don't think being able to at least fight on somewhat equal footing, or even beating an Admiral, would put them on the same level as one of the Emperors.

If an admiral does show up, than it'll probably be the whole crew against him, or maybe one of the SHs is "natural enemy", it's not really that much of a stretch since the SHs did get past Moria, who once fought evenly with Kaidou

personally, i prefer aokiji, the battle with aokiji can show us how much the SH crew has improved since they last met at long long ring islang (sp?) Since, aokiji has taken an interest into the SH crew, since the last time they met, he was talking about how dangerous the crew is.
And also, since the closest crew member to aokiji is robin, robin might find some poneglyhs that show the WG's wrong doing's, and as such, aokiji may let the crew off again . haha, just random crap . i dont know what i am talking about

A battle with aokiji i still can't see how they would battle against the ice. Maybe luffy and Sanji could do something. Sanji with his red hot foot maybe luffy using gear 2 which seems to heat him up but i don't think theyd be effective enough at their current stage. I think a fight with a admiral wouldn't occur and that as they admiral gets called down to face them luffy and co would have already gone to fishman island. If i remember Kuma is in the holy land so i think he might reappear for a double warlord battle in fishman island and a new bounty increase as they head from fishman island into the new world.

Yeah, my opinion is pretty much what this guy already said. We've seen Aokiji, we've seen a preview of Akainu, now we only need Kizaru.
Although, if that silhouetted guy in chapter 497 is him, I hope his character design ends up cooler then it looks. Right now he's looking kind of like a noble who fights with an axe.

I think quite a few people care about the man who blew up civilians for justice 20 years ago. I also think quite a few people are interested in seeing this character. He's either going to be a great evil (or rather, one who does anything for the great good to the point it seems evil), or something unexpected.
On that note, Shabody Islands (sp?) seems like the wrong setting to reveal this character, but who knows. If the nobles summoning an Admiral comes true, he or she (I'm super PC) may just appear later in Fishman Island.

I dunno why, but I've always pictured him being the paramecium of the three. His power? I think it's the power to create disease, which would make him a perfect opponent for Chopper. Besides, a villain who could cause sickness and pestilence in anyone or thing he touches would be a pretty awesome villain. Yellow is the color of decay and sickness, which is what gave me the idea for this.
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.

I think the monkey is somehow represented with wings in traditional japanese legends. Or may be chinese…
So I thought he could be one of the five DF users able to fly.
Quite useful for an Admiral.

The admiral's names are based on a childhood story called Momotaro, which translates to Peach Boy. The story goes that his parents were elderly and wanted a child of their own before they died, but were much too old to have a child. A passing fairy overheard them discussing it, and worked her magic. The next day, while working the fields, the old man found a unusually large peach. They started to cut it open to eat it, and lo and behold, a baby was inside the peach. They took the baby as their own, and named it Momotaro.
Many years later, Momotaro's town was attacked by fierce Ogres. Most of his parent's crop was destroyed. Angry, Momotaro swore revenge. He trained for several years, until the time to make the voyage came. Before he left, his parents gave him four magic meat buns, which he carried with him on a sack.
On the way, Momotaro met a Red Dog, which followed him in exchange for a meat bun. Then he met a Yellow Monkey, which did the same. Finally, he met a Blue Pheasant, who also agreed to become his companion for a meat bun. At first, the animals were going to fight, especially the Red Dog and the Yellow Monkey, but Momotaro explaine The three companions rallied together, and sailed across the sea to Onigashima, the Ogre's Island.
When they got there, a huge gate was barring entrance. The Blue Pheasant flew up and unlocked the gate. The four ate their Meat buns, and with the magical power flowing through them, fought the Ogres. They won the battle, and made the Ogres promise never to harm anyone else again. They also recieved some great rewards, such as an invisible hat and coat, and a hammer that made a gold coin wherever it struck. They returned home to the Old man and woman's house, and live happily ever after.

A Noble doesn't "have the power to call Admirals", harming a Noble is just a crime so major that the Admirals are called in to deal with it to totally horrify those who do it.
And I voted Kizaru since we know nothing about him/her, but really I'd prefer Sengoku to come.

I'm calling bounty hunter on this arc. There's gonna be no admirals fought on Shabondy. Instead, we'll see a super strong bounty hunter (that axe guy).
Hachi said that all the marines there are strong, but there are lots of extremely strong bounty hunters and kidnappers too. Since we've already seen some kidnappers, and had plenty of marines to fight, it would be a nice change to see a STRONG bounty hunter for a change. The last ones we saw were in the Baroque Works, but really they were just Croc's assasins.

I really want to see Kizaru (which I think is the silhouetted guy anyway) if only because he wasn't in the story at all. As for who fights him, I want it to be anyone BUT Luffy.

Well I'm not sure when we will fight another admiral, if it happens this arc or later. But one thing is for sure. They will beat Aokiji at some point. You can't have the story end with Luffy loosing to someone and never beating him. It just wouldn't feel right for him to be the pirate king by loosing to a Admiral.
In the same sense, something also has to happen between him and Smoker as well to finally resolve that. But I guess Garp was always chasing and stuff Roger, kind of like smoker now. So who knows, but I hope he does sometime show his dominance to each of them at some point.

I don't think we're ready for Akainu yet at this point in the story. Kizaru would be pretty damned cool to finally see if you ask me! If any Admiral shows up now, it's gotta be him.

Kizaru. We know next to nothing about him, so him making an instant appearance would be exciting.
I'm looking forward to seeing Akainu in the New World. Maybe because we've seen a clip of him, Oda will save him for later. I really believe he'll end up fighting Dragon some time.
But yeah, Kizaru. Hope he has a unique personality.

I don't think they are quite that strong yet choperman… they only got through the first part of the GL and everyone is warning them how much more dangerous the second part is.
And the admirals are supposed to be the strongest in the whole of the Marine organization.

Kizaru because Akainu is linked to the Robin backstory and will probably be a major antagonist later in the New World.
