We have surely Kizaru here, and nobles from 800 years ago, when the lost kingdom had been destroyed and probably when the D began to flee (if the theory of the D being from the kingdom is right). That could mean something big about the D for chapter 500. -

well after reading the chapter translation, i'm definitly sure that something bad is going to happen to Zoro, hes either going to be taken as a slave or hes going to cross the line with one of the Nobles. If hes heading to no 1 then i think this is a high possiblilty

Somehow this chapter only got more interesting regarding the translation than they were just looking at it. The scene with the slave pirate captain was creepy once I read about it…but seeing a monster getting pacified by those creepy Tenryubito (who remind me of sea monkeys for some reason) just shocked me. Other than that...I liked the bubble bike they were riding
(and the concept of the "Mermaid Princess"...if Sanji loved Caimie, wait until Brook tells him of her) -

Betting the Axe guy is some kind of bounty hunter who will certainly meet our dear 120 million berri green haired favourit.
I enjoyed this chapter very much, this island or should I say island or actually trees look like so much fun and its once again a very creative one. Bubbles for everything.
And obviously fishmen are not welcome there, dont know why yet. But Caimie hiding her tail and Hacchi hiding his tattoo (there obviously is no "wound" there) makes one wonder why.

Good chapter overall. Looks like Hatchi's not as dumb as we first made him out to be; just a bit absent-minded. And the nobles need to have their helmets busted and their faces shoved in dirt.
Notice Brooke's reaction to the mention of the Admirals. Think he had a run-in with the Admirals of his generation with Yorki and crew? 50 years ago would be before the Sengoku/Garp/??? generation of Admirals, so no telling who they could have been.
(P.S. That's a conjecture on my part. Please, don't fly off the handle and say I'm assuming too much or some BS. It's perfectly logical to assume Garp, Sengoku, and a third unknown were admirals back in Roger's time)

Kuma's not old enough. If anyone, I'd say it was Whitebeard or even possibly Roger himself. A Marine Admiral betraying the Marines to become Pirate King… a little cliche, but still a good plot device.

I'd like more to know about how it was with the Shichibukai.No reason why the Navy HQ wouldn't have had an Admiral at that point (not like there's a reason to have a rank cut off and introduce more later.) 400 years ago Norland was an Admiral of a particular country so the rank existed (obviously.) We already know that the Navy existed in Brooke's time also.

And a lot of other questions. Shabondy is going to be longer than the Duval arc. The title "Adventure on..." implies that it has to be at least as long as Little Garden. So, no Fishman Island in chapter 500

She has maybe a "bad story" about the Shabondy IslandsRobin was speaking in general. Notice Caimie AND Hatchi are hiding their appearance. Hatchi even went as far as to cover his tattoo. If that tattoo is the symbol of Jimbei, though, as people are speculating, it doesn't make much sense unless even the Shichibukai Gyojin is oppressed, as well.
Surprised no one's said anything about a talking Starfish or a Skeleton. Papagg may be a regular, there, so that's not such a shock, but I expected Brooke to at least wear his glasses.
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.
