Dunno he doesn't fit the role IMO. …but then again I was wrong about the actor of Beast in the X-3 movie so I'll wait and see.
Why not? There is a resemblance, and The Rock is well-built so he'll look good on spandex.

But yeah, I can see The Rock as Black Adam. He's just over the top enough for that kind of action role.
Am I the only one who just cannot get over the way he looks? It always looked like he put his head in a giant pencil sharpener and gave it a few cranks– not enough to make a point, but enough to make it bend in around the top edges.
Plus, nobody should be rewarded for being associated with pro wrestling.

the same thing happend with the king ping in daredevil he was black in the move and we all know that the king ping was a big big big WHITE guy but it dont really matter he played the role well and the movie was ok 
except for the fact that you don't know what your talking bout and the actor and the character being talked about have the same skin color

I heard about this back at Wondercon and it seems like an OK. choice. It really depends on what angle they'll take good ol' Teth in the movie. If he just gonna be the badguy without much development then he'd do well, but if they went for the more recent developments he's gotten then they'd need to give Dwayne some acting lessons.
I dunno if I could take him seriously as such an intense character, regardless of how developed the role is, just because it's the damn Rock but I'm willing to give it a chance.
