Personally, when I read the first part I was thinking "Uwe Boll says he'll stop if a online petition gets a certain number of signatures, huh?" as it actually sounds like something he'd say.

Actually, it might be something he would say. He could go down in history as the most hated movie-man (yes, I used the terminology, bite me) in the world. Bad publicity is publicity after all. Sorta like how Maddox got famous (although some of us don't hate Maddox, I don't anyway). Except Maddox is the mesiah compared to Uwe.

I'd prefer 'two bad directors enter, neither leaves', but beggars can't be choosers I suppose.
Does anyone believe that he really will stop if there are a million signatures? Somebody pays him to direct these films, and so long as they do he'll keep directing them, even if the petition has one billion signatures. Instead of this, how about sending petitions to MGM, Universal, 20th Century Fox, Paramount, Warner Bros., and every other studio in Hollywood to stop hiring this man? One million signatures on something like that could mean several million dollars in lost revenue for them if they keep paying this idiot to direct and/or produce. When nobody is hiring him anymore, he'll have to spend his own money on making bad movies. This will either:
1.) Force him to become a better director.
or
2.) Bankrupt him.
Either way, we come out ahead.
