One Piece attractions in Japan?

Ooookay. If this is in the wrong place or not supposed to be here at all, I apologize profusely. I just couldn't think of anywhere better to turn with this question than here, honestly.

So. I'm going to Japan on a study abroad trip for five weeks, from June 1 to July 4. And basically, I want to know what the chances are of my getting to see any One Piece-related attractions, stores… anything.

I can read some, but I can't read enough Japanese to do the research myself. So if any of you folks could kindly let me know if you know anything about this stuff... that'd be great. I know there is (was?) a "real" Going Merry, but as they were updating it along with the story, I fear it's not there anymore. I've heard whisperings of stores and museums, too, but I can't find anything out, and I really REALLY need to have this information so I can start planning my free time for my trip.

Anyway, any info would be greatly appreciated. Again... really sorry if I wasn't supposed to post this.

Eh, I see no problem with this thread.

I don't know if the Going Merry replica exists anymore but I do know there exists a Thousand Sunny replica.

Tenri, Tokyo, Nara, and Kyoto are the locations I'll be at for any given length of time. I have time to travel in all of those locations, but only day-trips–I'm required to stay in the housing the study abroad people have chosen everywhere except in Tokyo, so no unauthorized overnight travel. Also, yes, I have plenty of money set aside.

Summer events like the Merry or last year's stamp rally don't usually start until August. So June/July you're out of luck on that front. If they do the Universal Studios show again there's a chance you could catch that but a time hasn't been announced.

There are plenty of stores you can hit though. Tokyo will have the Jump Store, Animate and Fuji Television Station. Those you can hit up during normal business hours.

Kyoto also has an Animate and it's worth a shot since even though Akihabara's Animate is huge, merch seems to vary from store to store.

As far as any specific events, we'll have to wait for dates to be announced first.

Do you happen to have any address or even a general area for the location of the Jump Store in Tokyo? I'm just a bit OCD I guess, but I like to have as much info as I can when trying to locate places–especially in another country.

I think there are at least 2 in Tokyo but the one I know of, and it's a good one, is along the Middle Line of the main JR circle. I forget which stop exactly but I believe it's the same stop at Tokyo Dome. I can look it up if you need help but I think a Google search will be able to provide the fastest answer. if not lemme know.

The only one that's hard to find is the Kyoto Animate. It's kinda tucked away.
