If the Sharingan was supposed to be derived from the Byakugan, shouldn't the Byakugan have all the same evolutionary potential of the Sharingan? Whenever those eyes seem to upgrade they increase logarithmically in power. Byakugan should be able to do the same.

I don't think so if for example the Byagukan evolved from the Sharingan than it shouldn't necessarily have all the same abilities as the Sharingan considering that most things that go through evolution sometimes lose certain features they once had in the previous stage(s) but in turn might receive some beneficial enhancements.

And the Hyuuga family was never fleshed out, which is a shame. I like Hinata and Neji (after he stopped being such a prick), it would've been nice for them not to be such useless background characters. Especially considering Neji is a Jounin now at age 15 (which puts him above Kakashi). His Sound 5 fight was one of my favorite fights in this manga.

Actually Neji is 16 by now (Team Gai is one year older than the Rookie 9, remember?).

I can only hope that the Hyuuga will get more screentime, as being one of the few older, established clans that parallel the Senji and Uchiha. But I've learned that hope in Naruto's storyline is usually worthless.

As I imagine it, Kishi probably will find a way for Sasuke to have a reason to fight anyone in Konoha. All anyone needs to say is "I have the will of fire" and that's enough to make him think they're "brainwashed by Senju". He'll still look like a monster but people will defend him for defending himself. Meh.

By the time we got to the Tsunade Arc about a year had passed. So the Rookie 9 were 13, and Team Gai were 14. So that makes Naruto and co. 15 1/2, and Team Gai 16.

I think its just a bad translation: the word was "Taka", which is "Hawk" in Japanese. But seeing that bird there out of nowhere…yeah, Kishi really has lost it. You didn't see any non-sequeter panels of snakes when they named themselves the first time.

My last word on that: I love American humor show when they are funny. I love "The Simpsons" in its classic era in the early-mid 90s, as do I love "Futurama" and even good humor shows for kids. My hatred of "Family Guy" isn't because I hate American shows but because it just isn't that good. Its not my style of humor, Seth McFarlane is a hack and was inconsistant even when he did cartoons on CN and it just seems extremely overblown by the fanboys, the media and everyone else.

Now can we please get back to Naruto?

Yeah, last Saturday they showed a filler with Kurenai, but it's not her team… well, one member, Shino. But instead of Hinata and Kiba, we've got Naruto and Ino. Naruto is a given, but Ino? What the heck?

It would've been nice if they'd gone into more detail about Kurenai's tutelage under Orochimaru. They really didn't flesh her character out enough. She's a good character, though, and she's the only one besides Naruto that doesn't treat Hinata like a punching bag or a serving girl.

Kurenai is the one who got preggers, not Anko who studied under Orochimaru.

I mean, she's already got her bloodline jutsu with possessing people, now make her have healing jutsu and superstrength too?

That's some pretty terrible reasoning right there.

Also, Itachi WILLINGLY made his life hell; killing his family, going into exile, joining an evil orginization, branded a traitor by his home, lying and hurting his brother….All for two things:
1: Keep Sasuke safe and make him a hero
2: Keep Konoha safe, and prevent war.

Sasuke is pretty much taking the worlds greatest dump on his brothers death wish. His brother whom he now seems to love again.
And that must mean Sasuke feels that Itachi was justified in what he did, that he indeed was hero - that the Uchiha were indeed the ones who'd got it wrong.
And yet, Sasuke STILL WANTS TO AVENGE THEM.

And a final "Also": Sasuke is now friends with Madara, even though his goal STILL is to avenge the Uchiha. And Madara confessed 5 minutes ago that he helped kill them all, for reasons nowhere near as noble as Itachi.

Kishimoto ought to get a "most plotholes in the shortest time" award.

Okay, I have a theory.

1. I think Madara sent the 9-tailed-Fox to attack Konoha. He wanted to destroy the village because they chose the first as there leader and he wanted to kill the uchiha for leaving him.

2.I think during the foxs attack, he fought the 4th, Minato. Dont you think a leader would try to take down a monster imidietly instead of waiting for it to kill hundreds of ninja's who have no chance in there lives. Madara could have tried to go to the uchiha during the confusion and Minato stopped him. This can also serve as were Madara got the idea for a time/space jutsu

3. I think that Minato figured out Madara is imortal, so he trapped the fox in Naruto with the seal that Naruto could use its chakra, so that one day Naruto could stop Madara, and so that Madara cant controll the fox anymore.

4. I think that Sasuke will go after Danzo and the other elders first when he arrives in Konoha, and kill them for not telling him about Itachi, and during this, Madara will start using fire release's to burn Konoha.

Meh shikamaru's group would be fine to keep around I suppose but not Team Kurenai. Heck all they did was stand around doing nothing. Well the Hinata fanboys appreciated just seeing Hinata I'm sure.

Took the words right out of my confused and irritated brain after reading that chapter. Sasuke is one misguided crumbum. And what the fuck does a Hawk have to do with any of this? NOTHING!! One just happened to fly by!!! Man he sure seems like he's making this up as he goes along!

oh, and team 8 is really getting the shaft it seems. They were actually pretty darn interesting (when they were introduced). But the only development thats taken place is Kiba has a bigger dog, Hinata has bigger tits, and Shino has more bugs (?!). Screw this…
