      Hi,

Maybe I missed some important part of the manga but I know that Log Poses are in use on the Grand Line but weren't needed on East Blue: do you think they'll still be needed in the New World ? That new ocean is separated from the Grand Line, except for the way undersea through Fishmen Island… maybe Fishmen Island and Marie-Joie are the last you can reach using a Log Pose ? If so, what's after ?

The grand line is supposed to go all the way around the world just like the red line do perpendicular to the grand line.

The new world is supposedly even harsher then the first part. Part of the dangers of the grand line is its insane and unpredictable weather patterns and magnetic fields that forces you to use a logpose instead of a compass.

If you look at the page where Shakky talks about the 7 paths from the reverse mountain through the grand line you will notice that they continue on the other side of the red line.

it's like you would say, that the Atlantic Ocean south of Brazil is no longer the same ocean. it's still the same Grand Line and you still need Log Poses (or Eternal).

The only reason for walking into the jaws of Death is so's you can steal his gold teeth.

??? It seems that the Grand Line was already there before Reverse Mountain, where they didn't need Log ! The part of the world after Red Line may not be subject to magnetic turbulences !

what are you talking about? before reverse mountain the strawhats were in east blue not the grand line.

just what are you looking at that gives you the idea that there is no need for the log after fishman island? I havent seen anything to indicated that, quite the oposite in fact as the maps show that the logpose paths continue all the way to raftel. I think it was even mentioned that the logpose goes all the way to raftel.

                  From different pictures on http://www.arlongpark.net/Encyclopedia/Atlas
What prevents someone to travel through North Blue or West Blue to reach the "end" of the Grand Line ?
I think I need a full map of the world 😕

That would be the calm belts and the weather/currents inside the grand line that without an aligned logpose will get you pretty darn lost.

please be specific as to which pictures you think would indicate that the magnetic fields associated with the logpose do not continue after the red line?

I thought they were suggesting that they did. especially this one:

                    [hide]

                    [/hide]

Off topic: Enel could've crossed Grand-line with such ease.. but no, he had to be Neil Armstrong >_>

                      …
