So that's my vague plan for this weekend. If anyone spots anything else on the schedule that they want checked out in case of One Piece info, tell me, and I'll see if I can fit it in. Otherwise, I'm not interested.

Also, last year, they changed up the schedule quite a bit, so this may change, and thus there's the chance of missing some of these panels …

EDIT: Looks like Brina's there too, but it's super close timewise to Caitlin's Q&A - probably more likely to go to Brina's.

No, this has nothing to do with CN. FUNimation is just rereleasing the past episodes, something they always planned to do.

Also, from hearing about the movie 8 premiere. There's no way to get any sort of capturing device into the screening.

Do you think you can see if Funimation says anything about translating Kokoro No Chizu (One Piece's 5th opening)? Im not expecting them to say much (if anything at all) about it, but do you think you can keep an ear open for it?

Err, no offense…but why waste a question on the openings? They're gonna dub all of the openings and endings. They wouldn't just do some of them. Expect Kokoro no Chizu to be Map of the Heart and be completely translated and sung just like Hikari E (or Towards the Light).

There was a guy with a camera at AX last year during the OP panel. Don't know if the reps were alright with him having a camera or if they didn't figure out the guy had one, but I think a video will most likely surface.

I really want to know WHY CN cancelled One Piece. If there isnt a very good reason why One Piece is off toonami like if Toonami puts One Piece back on the world is going to explode then will probably go emo.

Don't you think that's a bad thing? That the series just can't stand on it's own without one of our elaborate rescue missions? Support is key, I know. But when we have to constantly make plans to 'save it'… It doesn't seem like the series will ever really stand up on it's own.

Just to quell all of you freaks worrying about the future of One Piece on CN.

Adam Sheehan said DO NOT PANIC. He was talking about the anime industry when he said this, but now I say it to you guys.

According to him, it will come back onto CN - he doesn't know when though. Also, someone else asked about Canadian airings, but the unfortunate answer is that he just doesn't know much about it.

I don't know if this was said elsewhere because it sounded familiar, but … Vic Mignogna and not Jerry Jewel will sing "We Are."

Another thing is about the artwork on the boxsets.

It's exclusive art just for them - they were not copy and pasted from some other form.

There's another little thing he was talking about for another anime, but I think it might happen in the future for One Piece, but I won't say what it is to get hopes up until it's confirmed. And … if it's not going to happen for One Piece, then we'll just bug the crap out of them because Funi really does love their fans.

Got to leave soon now - the premiere is today, and the very least I can do is get an audio recording of the Opening and Ending so I can transliterate you guys the fixed lyrics. Or try to - if they take my phone, they take my phone.

Okay, maybe we do have to constantly "save" One Piece at this point in time. But OP does have its fanbase, its cosplayers at cons, and it's still got the VIZ translation of the manga.

The DVD sales are probably going to determine a lot of OP's future. So buy the DVDs when they come out.

This is not the only fandom I've belonged to that watched a show get canceled. . . and then get back on the air several months later. Turnaround time wasn't a week, mind you.

When you get the DVDs, show them to people who may have not heard of the series. If they like it, convince them to buy it. Hence, that's another DVD sale.

And write e-mails and letters.

The Funi panel was yesterday, so I don't know where you're getting that information, but it's wrong. And the person that I did see with a laptop probably wasn't a One Piece fan then, and didn't post this stuff.
