Bink's Sake was sung entirely different than how I imagined. I imagined it happy and fast and straight to the point. (Like the Yohohoho x4 being like his laugh)

This was also the first time I heard Moria's voice, and wow. Definitely different. Bearsy is also quite great.

Also, every scene with Kumashi just cracks me up. Especially with Absalom always there to remind Perona "You're too severe with Kumashi".

My my, seems like they DID explain why Brooke was falling from the sky… I actually liked it as a big mystery that will be solved in the SBS one day, or some kind of Running Gag that Brooke tends to fall down from high places to leave his "print" in the ground (like Colette in ToS)... but hey, this episode was still pure win!

I liked how Nami imitated Bon Clay to sound like a transvestite. And Brooke's singing voice was just beautiful! But I thought there will be more blood when Taleran is sliced up

I rewatched the Episode just now and I noticed a nice detail: When Franky beats up Taleran, we can see the General Zombies talking to each other and walking to some kind of gate… but just Jigoro is running in the wrong direction. First, I was confused where he might go but...

! I guess he just got lost… like Zoro! XD

Hahaha yeah I just saw that myself as well. At first I was like, what is Jigoroh doing? Then I realized, LOL it's Zoro. He knows exactly what he's doing. Getting LOST, that's what!

Really? I was actually surprised with the amount of blood we got. Not so much the blood spraying out but the effect they put on him getting sliced. Looked quite violent.

I loved that scene when franky just stand there and use weapons left on taleran's face , it was just like "yeah you stopped my pillars , so what ?".

My favorite part was when Robin asked how Brook got there.

Agreed. Binks' Sake was the absolute best. Though I was kind of expecting Brook to still fall out of the sky like in the manga.

[EDIT] Okay, that was entirely my bad. I only saw the last three minutes at first, but I saw the rest now and did see the falling scene. Thin is, for some reason I thought Brook beat Talaran right after he fell.

Very nice episode overall. It flowed very nicely, though I agree, Brook's scene up to the end was masterfully done and trumps everything before it.

Y'know, what I find interesting about Perona's voice in the anime is that she only does her "cute" voice for the "cute" lines. Whenever she's giving direct orders or in a foul mood, her voice changes to a deeper, "older"-sounding style (to my ears, that of a woman in her 20s or 30s at least). While it's true that her choice of words changes in these situations in the manga, when reading through I still imagined her using the same sort of high-pitched voice throughout. Her portrayal in the anime gives it a new dimension, suggesting that the "cute" side is even more of a façade.

Or at least, that's how I interpret it.

Finally got a chance to watch it. I smiled when I saw Bearsy playing with a Cat's Cradle. Wow, and Brook's song was almost magical. It was seriously truly lovely. I can't wait until he sings it about his fallen comrades. However, sadly that won't be for another 30 episodes atleast.

Did anyone notice that when the General Zombies went off to provide backup, Jigolo went in the exact opposite direction?

Well, this episode had some decent art, and anyone who doesn't find Franky beating stuff up with awesome weapons not cool needs to soak their head.

Good to see that Brook's seiyuu can sing well, and I thought it was neat how his attack line delieverance was the exact same as Ryuuma's. On the downside, I've discovered that I do not like Moria's voice one bit.
