Chapter 520
Back in the jail cell, Zoro, Nami, Robin, Franky, and Brooke walked free trying to find an exit, with several guards unconscious on the floor.
“To think Brooke scared them unconscious.” Nami stated as he examined one of the guards.
“Who cares.” Zoro stated. “We still can’t find a way out of here.” He looked across the hall as one fishman guard stood there, shocked with fear. “Oi! Fish freak!” Zoro yelled. “How the hell do we get out of here?”
The guard didn’t respond, too scared to move his lips. Franky smirked, as he tossed Brooke at the guard. “Ah!” Brooke yelled as he collided into the guard, falling to the ground. “Sorry , I have two left feet.” Brooke said. “Oh wait, no I don’t. Yo-ho-ho-ho!”
The guard passed out, his eyes filled with tears. “Guess we will have to find another way out.” Robin said with a laugh. Nami walked over to a door. “Hey guys,” she called, “look at this!” She pointed at a sign with the words “exit” on it.
“Alright let’s go then.” Zoro said as they walked through the door. Robin stopped, hesitating. “Wait!” Robin cried as the door slammed shut. “Got you!” One of the guards yelled, as Robin immediately sprouted hands along his body, getting him into a clutch formation.
“Where did they go?” Robin said. The guard laughed. “Kill me if you want, pirate.” He said. “Your friends are in the export bank.”
“Export bank?” Robin asked. “I can’t explain it in this position!” The guard yelled as Robin released her clutch, forming several arms around his neck.
“Okay! Okay!” He yelled. “The export bank is the undersea port next to Fishman Island.” The guard explained. “What do you mean?” Robin asked. “You foolish pirate.” He said. “This entire cell is underwater, adjacent to fishman island.Of course, to get here, you need to take the sea tunnel at Jimbei’s Sanctuary. That export bank they’re in right now is the port in which water flows in and out for fishman to swim out of the prison.”
“How long until the water pours in?” Robin asked. “I’d say about five minutes.” The guard stated. “Slap!” Robin said as the hands slapped the guard rapidly until he fell to the ground with several bumps on his face.
“The captains will be here soon..” The guard whispered. Robin searched for the lever to stop the water income.
“Where are we!?” Nami yelled as the crew stood in a large empty block space. “I knew this place didn’t look right.” Franky stated. “You hear that?” Zoro asked. The crew became silent as they focused on their hearing. There was a soft creaking around them.
Then, the front wall began to slowly open, as water poured in faster and faster. “We’re going to drown!” Nami yelled. “Zoro! Do something!” She demanded. “What am I supposed to do!” Zoro retaliated.
Robin ran from corridor to corridor. “This is wasting time.” She said. “Ojos Fleur,” she said as several eyes appeared in each one, as one of them caught sight of a small lever. She ran to the room, cranking it. “Let’s hope that works.” Robin sighed.
The door continued to open, as the water was up to the crew’s shoulders. “I guess it’s time to die.” Brooke said. “Again!” He joked.
The door into the room slammed open, as the crew rushed out with the flowing water into the jail cell. Robin turned the corner as she helped them up. “We have to get out of here!” Franky yelled. “Follow me.” Robin stated. “The sea tunnel is in this direction.”
The crew ran farther and farther, as the export bank opened fully, waves of water rushing into the jail. Franky turned around as a wave of water began to follow them.
“Through there!” Robin yelled as she pointed to a large door. “Move! I’ll open it!” Franky yelled. “Strong Right!” Franky said as his right fist detached from his arms, slamming into the door as it flew off its hinges.
The crew flew out of the cell, as they entered a large tunnel underwater, the windows covered in moss. Nami sighed. “We’re safe.” She said. “Not exactly.” Zoro said as he looked up the tunnel.
Far from them, stood two figures in the sunlight of the entrance. “Things just got interesting.” Suwiganu said with Gongo at his side.
