So I have a friend I may have convinced into cosplaying as Caimie this Anime Expo.
If her actual colors aren't released by this AX, what should I do? Have it cosplayed according to our own interpretation?

If the offical colors arent releaced go by what you know of color skemes of one piece and take a guess at it . . . after all no one can really blame you if there arent colors . .

If colors aren't out by AX, I'm going to second on the pink tail and some form of green or blue hair (Kokoro's distant relative maybe?). Since the starfish is the designer, I'm kind of seeing some funky rastifarian type colors..so make the shirt bright and possibly bold multi-colors.

Um instead of having to carry her how about doing what most Little Mermaid cosplayers do? make the tail so it can be rolled up so she can walk fine but when needed for pics or whatever just pull the tail back down?

I'm the type of person that would carry her into a bathroom no problem, but she'll probably figure out some way to handle her business without me having to.
Either way, the point is that she seems to want to do it, with me carrying her and everything.
I'm a FedEx package handler so I lift packages in the mornings everyday anyway. I'm not weak even if I am kind of thin.

Your tshirt looks excellent apart from the fact its jut cant have thouse colours (sleves filled with black can`t turn out to be pink while the main part is dark green duuuh).
Wigs looks very nice but again, the colours are too dark~

And I say almost perfect for the wig, because it is a shade darker than the colour from the video game.

Very cool! I'd suggest using a wagon or a little cart. I mean, it's going to become a problem if you guys are going to go to the dealers room or something. I think maybe an alternative Caimie outfit (like the shirt she's wearing in the manga) she can change into when she wants to be on her own or walk around would work pretty swell.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that my friend finished her Caimie cosplay a week or so ago.
Here's the pictures. Keep in mind that she has naturally blue eyes, so she got brown contacts just for this. Geez. Lol.

I have to agree that or adding some to the fabric to make it heavier. But she does make a really cute Caimie.
And btw Spork…your signature picture is really hot. I love the how it is just a picture of your totally hot Zoro pants.

You know another thing you can do to help with the moving issue is to rent a weal chair. That way she can get herself around.
