I just got a new phone. And I want geeky ringtones on it.
It's a Samsung SPH-m300 with a contract from virgin moble. (canadian)
I'm pretty confident from my understandings that it can handle Mp3's and those polytone ringtone things. I tried DL a ring tone from a site last night. I hit "ok" oh my phone to start DL. it kept going to a blank page.
This morning, I go to Virgin's site and DL a ringtone. Success.
So, This afternoon I go to another site, and try to DL a ringtone. I hit "ok" to DL the ringtone, and it says something like "cannot access web browser" or web page or something like that. Originally the web stie was just suposed to e-mail it to me, but that didn't happen, so I used their URL to try to get it manually.
I'm not very good with cell phones. Is my company blocking my phone from getting ringtones from other places but them? Is it hard to overcome this? I do have bluetooth if that helps, but I'm really not fully understanding what it is.
I also have midi's and mp3's and stuff on my PC. can I transfer those and use them somehow?
