Exactly. My biggest problem with Part 6 is only one: Araki ran out of ideas for stands.
The Disney guy, the Feng Shui guy, The green baby's stand, Survivor, just to name a few.
Green baby's stand was awesome. Simple and fulfilling the purpose. While the way you need to say unrelated gibberish to make it react was weak and strange (only explanation is it being related to Dio and him programming it like that beforehand, but that rises more questions than answers). And what that bone was? Dio's horn, like pillarmen had, or his boner or what?
I rather disliked the way Pucci got one stand after another.
And Dio's sons. That was a horrible idea. Giorno is a unique case and that was his appeal, but when we get three more idiots and losers that shame their father's name it's bad. One was a junkie fool, one was a coward and one bombed his very strong and potent power.
And the way FF died… that was pure cheat.
The part felt dragged like hell, and some of the fights were downright boring for me. And there was little plot on it's own - just one instance of fights to another.
And for some reason, all the stands except, like, two from top of my head, were humanoids and I disliked it because it got boring fast. For me at least. But I like how Araki kept all of them fabulously dressed.
Stone Ocean has a lot of moments that I disliked.
But I liked the ending. It was strange, but fresh and interesting. And it gave us Gyro's grills.
