Which One Piece Gamecube Game Should I Import?

hey guys
i want to import one of the japanese gamecube games and i'm not sure which one

grand battle 3
or
grand battle rush!

it seems that rush is basically grand adventure with more characters, that sounds cool but i just want to be sure which one is the latest of the 2 with the most characters and such.

i played and enjoyed grand adventure on ps2 but no longer have access to that console and am now in need of a one piece game with more characters that battle stadium DON. UA would be the obvious choice but i don't have a wii and the game seems quite far from an australian release and wii mod chips don't seem to be quite perfect yet.

Between the two Rush has more characters but Grand Adventure still has the most.

Grand Battle 3 is fairly cheap on playasia atm ( http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-48-49-en-15-grand+battle-70-2mh-43-99.html ), so you should probably pick that up first, because it may not be in stock for too much longer. Grand Battle Rush is a more varied game, but it's much more difficult to come by (I got mine on ebay because playasia was sold out), and it's really not that much better than the US version.

Yeah, GB3 has been on sale on playasia for months now…guess they're having a hella a time getting rid of their stock. I'd import it, but I don't have a moded PS2 or care to bother.

as if i shouldn't bother with DON, i've had it for a year and love it! (btw, love your "it crowd" sig!)
but yeah lack of OP characters is a drag.

yeah i played and enjoyed grand adventure on ps2 ( a borrowed copy when i was living in a house with a ps2) but buying a game for myself i thought i'd put in the extra effort to rid myself of those 4kids voices.

why is GB3 better than rush? cause it has ace?

how does UA compare to the gc op games?

They're more a contrast than a compare given that they fall into different genres.

The GB games are awesome, Id check gamefaqs to see what characters you would rather have and then base your decision off that. They both have different characters so just go with whichever has more of your favorites.

i ended up getting both, but rush hasn't arrived yet
grand battle 3 is awesome!
it's sad that ace isn't in rush, would've been so fun to make him fight aokiji
playing as wiper and hina is really fun.

something i'd like to mention for others thinking of getting it, a thing i didn't know about the game. luffy's lvl 2 special is the golden ball rifle move that he uses against enel as he's running up the giant jack, and it's pretty damn awesome!
it's definitely a game for skypiea fans!
