I just did the same, I made a version where All the "Nakama"s were replaced with "Crewmate" or "Crew" whenever appropriate, "Mugiwara" was replaced with "Straw-Hat", "Biri" gets to be "Billy" again, and All the attacks display once instead of twice (as in, translated straight)

Could you possibly share this so I don't have to skim through the plot to experience it in my own full language?

Very glad INP released soft-subs. Thats how you do it people, nice and swiftly, and allows any quick edited of weaboo translation tendancies like Nakama and Mugiwara to be easily replaced in 30 seconds.
Other than the SAMPLE text, the DVD quality was pretty exceptional, so there we go. My condolences to those now waiting a month further to watch it

Big Props to INP for this. Even though they use the Dreaded "Nakama" they do a release I can fix before my girlfriend watches it! Huzzah!

About the whole shiki powerlevel thing:
I always figured he was mainly a swordfighter and used his devilfruit as support. After he lost and had to cut of his legs in order to breakout he lost a lot of his power. I mean what are Mihawk or Zoro without their weapons. For a swordfighter stances are important and without legs there are no stances. which means no power behind the sword attacks.
So he was forced to rely solely on his devil fruit and this is never a good idea for a fighter.
Though the way he lost was really just plot convenience. HE should have been able to avoid Luffys last attack.
What I'm trying to say is that his legandary status was appropriate as long as he had his legs. -

Just epic. Loved everything about it.
! Luffy, Nami, and Usopp were my favorite in this film. Everybody did good job and were of use. I wish I could see Oda do another movie, even if it has nothing to do with One Piece.
! But I understand why doesn't want to do another movie. But this movie is on pair with Movie 6 to me. Damn 10 and 6 for first for me.
! Shiki was good villain. Loved to see how gear 2 looked and the Thor attack was amazing. -

A nice surprise to come back from a holiday to find out that the movie is out like a month earlier than I expected it to be o/ Saw the movie a few days ago, and yeah, wow. Some parts I was disappointed at, but mostly it was pure delivery. The clothes, the animation, the music…<3 is still fangasming all overThis made me realize though how much I miss the Straw hat action >:
Buutttt I have a question. Now, I don't know if this was only a rumor, or if I recall all wrong, but I have this vague memory of Oda stating something about the character development... Like, that each Straw hat would say something specific that would show how they've changed from the beginning of their introductions - at some point of the movie. Does anyone remember anything like this, or am I making up this completely? Or was it character development overall which was meant here...? Ugghhh dunno.

! Shiki was defeated by Luffy because he keept wating for him to drop dead for the amount of electricity in the clouds, wasn't untill it was too late when he realized "Oh crap, he isn't going to stooop!!!"
! The whole crew had nice scenes, but Nami should have distracted shiki just before the Axe, to take away the "He could have dodged!" feeling.
! We are never going to know what were Indigo's powers?

Shiki's main flaw (similarly to Blackbeard) is that he was so cock-sure of his own superiority, in that he had two separate opportunities to kill Luffy, but instead just put him in a compromising position and told him his efforts were futile.
! Shiki "allowing" himself to be hit by the last attack was practically an admission of defeat after, again, being sure that Luffy was defeated by the lightning.
! Also, I accepted it due to Shiki being a Paramecia devil fruit user, giving Luffy more of a fighting chance -

Zoro is still awesome without his swords. He is a fighter, plus as we seen in the DBF (both manga and anime) he is able use his sword techniques without his sweords.
Shiki is also awesome without his swords. But not as awesome as Roger,Garp and Whitebeard.
Zoro is strong and can deal with a lot of enemies without his swords but he could't win against kaku without his swords because he is a swordfighter. That with the swords was just an example. Take away his legs and he will never be able to fight at the same level as he used to. -

I loved the movie, the only thing that seemed weird is when the Straw-hats entered the reunion with guns?? I mean, Franky yeah.. Maybe even Chopper but Zoro?? I mean he uses swords not guns…
And about the ending, I think Shiki didn't want to just move away from the attack, he wanted to battle against one of the East Blue's most powerful men.

He was so confident that Luffy would get struck by lightning and disabled that he let his guard down, it was already too late when his last minute boulder defence was destroyed as well.

I read a person say a lot earlier how they appreciated how "on model" all the characters were and I have to say I appreciated that as well. It's nice for Brook to be a 9 footer and Franky a 7 footer when they're flubbed to match frame in even the comic.
The consistency of the artwork was one of the most fulfilling things about the whole film.
Ohh yeah, and I fuckin' loved how they all used guns. They're pirates, they use whatever. It'd be cliched and boring if they all refused to use whatever weapons were available.

okay can anyone tell me why was shanks, whitebeard, and most importantly the strawhats crew entering the marine base, since the first trailer that i saw for the movie showed them.
i was hoping to see those parts, but i didn't see any, or did editor decided to cut those bits off.

I know I shouldn't complain, but is there a version with the video with subs that aren't having spacing problems?
On the version I downloaded, torrent called "[One Piece Fan-Subs] One Piece Movie 10 SAMPLE 720 x 480" has the subtitles like this;
W h e r e y o u b e e n h i d i n g a l l t h e s e y e a r s ?Its almost unbearable, cause due to the size any one who speaks more than 2 words takes up a 3rd of the screen, and the spacing on the words makes it very hard to read.
