Whenever I entered the enemy base from the top entrance I was always falling towards the flag before I got dismounted. Still that's not really a benefit as if you get crowd controlled while mounted you are more vulnerable then if you were dismounted as all your abilities to break crowd control are frozen.
The only benefit of being able to mount or remain mounted indoor in WSG would be catching up to the enemy flag carrier.
I was also pretty aware that he was ignoring PVP, but you can't just ignore one part of the game when you're sitting there and going "EVERY INDOOR PLACE SHOULD HAVE MOUNTS."
Did he say every? I thought he just wanted less places forcing him to dismount.
I just assumed he did not mean the forced dismount mechanic wasn't going to be completely removed, just less used.
Trash mobs are connected to a boss. If you don't kill the boss within a certain time limit, the trash respawns, which usually signals that the raid is a bust [since nobody wants to grind through trash a second time].
Part of the challenge of retrying bosses is that you only get so many tries within that time limit. Being able to mount up and ride to the boss would probably give you twice as many attempts, which is pretty lame, honestly.
They made it work in Ahn Quraij. The easiest solution would be to shorten the respawn timer. (In my experience most of the time is wasted from the graveyard to the instance, not in the instance itself.)
Best stats for feral druids are agility, stamina, and strength…though I don't know if the way strength works changes depending on what form you are, I don't know enough about droods.
Agility for cat form, str for melee and bear form.
str is virtually useless for catform and agi does not have as a big impact for bear/caster iirc.
