Would you guys get mad if FUNimation fixed some things. For example if they change the scene during the Foxy Filler where Chopper comsumes 2 Rumble Balls after each other, and has no sideeffects. Would you hate it if they deleted that scene, or alter it?
Or more recently, if they took out those filler episodes of Enies Lobby arc, where everyone does a flashback to their past.
Would you hate that, or would you prefer it? It's just something to think about.

I originally thought that too. But considering that they are realising all the Uncut DVD's starting at Epsiode 1. All, if not most are going to be already released by time Enies Lobby Arc airs.

No they shouldn't. I think FUNi should stay as true to the original as possible.
Well, technically the manga's the original which the anime wasn't true to in those parts…but I get what you're saying.
Personally, If Possible, I'd like them to fix some of those Errors. The Rumble One May not be Fixable, but a few others could be
Like they could change Zeff's Dialog to Sanji during their Flashback to make it seem like he ate his leg, and make the Scene where it actually gets cut off a "Deleted Scene" so to speak, where you have to choose The Japanese Track in the menu to get it to play with the Episode. (I've seen other things that do this)
But, In All Honesty, I don't care either way. Toei made those changes and mistakes to begin with, so now FUNi, and we have to live with them XD

The only thing I want to happen when Funi gets to the Enies Lobby filler episodes is this:
Have one night of One Piece on Toonami. Have all the filler episodes air, followed by the one that follows after. Have it be a season premiere or something.
I'm usually a stickler for this sort of thing, but it would not bother me at all if I didn't have to watch Luffy pull his crew off the tower a half-dozen times. Talk about filler hell.
I'm more concerned with how they're going to sell those episodes on DVD. I don't see how they could justify selling a full priced DVD set that half consists of recap episodes.
Another thing to think abotu is when they reach Crazy Rainbow Star, and Jungle P. What are they going to do for Ending Credits. Cause It's too unheard of for them to have all the credits in the Opening.
Contract Toei to make another ending, and crop the heck out of Rainbow Star..

I'd suppose FUNimation will throw caution to the wind and insert credits into Crazy Rainbow and Jungle P. They would have to contact Cartoon Network about it and CN would watermark the beginning with a note that there will be no closing at the end due to the extra long opening. I just hope that CN don't attempt to split screen credits at the end even though the credits are at the start.

Why would they need to do that? During Crazy Rainbow and Jungle P. If they don't have enough time for it they can just play a few seconds of it like how Adult Swim does with some of it's openings.
There's only one thing I wouldn't mind Funi changing and that's the double Zoro scene in the DBF arc.
Yeah, Toonami made their own openings for each show… which were only like, 10 seconds.
But Toonami no long does that sort of thing.

I would prefer it if they skipped out on some of that, yeah. I skipped over it myself, in watching the subs. It just wasn't worth my time.
I mean, I don't want to watch a person's backstory five times in the course of a show, unless each time it reveals something new. And I mean jeez. I had JUST WATCHED Robin's in full, and they repeated it?! They must really have been desperate to stay behind the manga. I simply read the descriptions on Wikipedia (<3), and decided not to watch useless episodes.
The Chopper Rumble ball incident… I'm not sure. I guess it could go either way, but I'd say keep it in for continuity's sake.
This is not to say that the dub needs to skip all fillers. NOT AT ALL. There are many fillers I really truly enjoyed watching (G8, for example). But those flashbacks were placed at a time in the anime which to me made them very annoying. But that's just my personal opinion. In the end, it's FUNimation's decision. I will still refuse to watch those episodes, however, and avoid buying those episodes at all costs (If they're on the same disc as IMPORTANT episodes, my hand will be forced, and I'll be none too pleased, but I'll buy it)
As to Crazy Rainbow & etc.,
You could always put the song, and thus the credits, at the end. skip to the recap of the Gol D. Roger speech in the beginning, where the song is.

This is why I'm glad they're doing the seasons in parts, that way when filler arcs pop up, I can skip that DVD & go straight to the cannon

Well.. that is a decent question.
I don't want them to do edits of any kind, the only changes I would approve are those that are improvements that the original creators wanted that for one reason or another didn't make it in the first time. It would defeat the whole purpose of trying to keep the American release as close to the original as possible, which is what Toei Animation is trying to do now with FUNimation.

Besides, if those flashback episode do not require the FUNimation cast to do any extra dialogue then that just allows them the chance to get further ahead in recording or take time off.
What about messed up animation errors, like double Zoro? Or consistency errors, with Zoro cutting steel chains, forgetting how to do it, and trying to cut steel again with Mr. 1? That might need a bit of fixing. But I think Toei would have to approve of the changes, which will never happen. Neat idea tho.

Chances are no, if anything they'd do it cause of the fans.
I do approve of changes such as Zoro cutting steel. If Luffy says "Zoro, can you cut these iron chains?"(or just chains) with Zoro replying in the usual fashion, then great.
Besides, the visual errors will only give commentary speakers something to laugh about.
