^Check out the trailer. This actually looks like everything that the prequels failed to be, and then some. It's going to air on CN and TNT, opening with some special theater release thing.
Also it's rumored to be a "PG" rated show.

As much as I hate to say it, NAY. It just looks to me like Clone Wars 3D. Honestly, these stories have been done to death. I also hate the fact that Yoda isn't voiced by Frank Oz.
What I'd like to see is a show, either animated or CG, based on The New Jedi Order book series. Now THAT would be something to behold.

And even if they have been done before, atleast it will now have a chance to be done correctly. The franchise is just full of so many underused side characters.

No, THAT is Frank Oz. Tom Kane did it in the Clone Wars cartoon. Hell, Oz was the first person casted in it, followed by Wood for Grevious and the obligatory Daniels for 3-PO

Because the movies were mostly CGI and looked like that anyway.

This looks exactly like the films in terms of story, direction, execution and scripting. If you were one of those people bitching and moaning about how awful the prequels were (despite many such naysayers not even being alive at the time of the originals to compare them without being unbiased) I didn't see any hints of something in that trailer that was done better than in the films regardless of what you thought of them.

IT'S STAR WARS! It has so many characters by now I would be amazed if anyone could sit down and list them all let alone use them in a 2 hour movie.
Looks to be on par with everything I've ever seen in Star Wars. In other words, exciting and fun.

I was one who actually liked the prequels. And it's good that it will have similar writing.
But the thing about the prequels were that they focused only on the main characters. Now we will get to see more of great characters like Grevious Grevious and Aayla Secura. That's the good thing, IMO
I enjoyed the prequals myself. Despite the hate they get.
I guess I can see why though.
