Yes, really. And having translated song-lyrics one episode and Japanese the next… I've never particularly cared for it, but I really don't see any need to complain about that.
…Actually, I seem to recall the characters throwing some sort of curse like, every other minute in FUNi's dub of the fight against Buggy. I can't remember any of the fansubs (except maybe ADC's) being that bad… And I can't remember any other times when Gerusama "spiced up the subs" other than the one that you mentioned, and honestly, considering how pissed off Usopp was when he said that, the "Shut the fuck up"-translation was actually perfectly fitting.

The thing is, translating language as you know yourself is difficult, as the Japanese don't seem to use nearly as many swears as English speakers do. But they instead use "vulgar" forms of other words that carry the same meaning depending on the situation. While I don't agree with the f-bomber in most anime, it's not misleading to translate the "kisama" or "temme" forms of "you" as "asshole", "jerk" or "bastard" depending on the situation and how the user of the word at the time is feeling. Of course, I do agree that FUNi got a bit carried away towards the start, but seem to be easing down a little now.

It was probably made before FUNimation had the rights to use Zoro for uncut DVDs (remember when they first started they didn't have that right) and left alone for its useage in the first two voyages. They probably noticed it during this time and corrected. It was simply an error and since it has been corrected, it's not that bad. Its not all that noticable either.
Look on the bright side, Family will still be used as BGM in episode 167. It could still be heard and since its 5.1 audio, could have the talking removed somewhat so you'd be able to hear it in some form

Like I said, it was literarily only there for 1/12 of a second, yet some people noticed it anyway. And I rather doubt it could have been an edit from the TV-dub, seeing how FUNi's version of the East Blue-arc never aired on TV, and the eyecatchers we saw on CN during the Jaya/Skypeia-arc were slightly different.
But there's no use discussing that now; it's a nigh-unnoticable mistake that they corrected fairly quickly anyway.

Only if the anime/manga is actually more language-faulty than others. I don't know Eyeshield well, but I know Hellsing was a good cause for it and they actually do say the Japanese equivalent (at least the official manga translated it as such) when the Valentine Brothers appeared. The younger brother was a prick and was flipping everyone off and stuff. So yeah, there are times for it, but not in One Piece, that's for sure.

Yeah, you guys are right. I wasn't mad about it, I was just a bit surprised. But it's really not that big of a deal and is no reason to bash them.
With good audio, we should be able to seperate a half-way decent version with Cooleditpro or other audio software.

Actually, the dub comes with two audo tracks and one of those is a 5.1 surround sound track. The way in which FUNimation encodes One Piece (and all their 5.1 dubs since 2006) is that the vocals are in the front channel and the music is in the left and right ones. Judging on how they've have encoded the opening and ending songs, i'm going to assume the singing will be with the music, meaning once ripped properelly, we'll be able to hear it very well. This also how I released the unreleased BGM, of which two pieces I have uploaded to youtube and posted on previous pages.
People mentioned weeks ago where they saw One Piece Season 2 Part 6 listed in the most recent FUNi ad flyer but I don't think I ever saw where someone got a scan of it.

I actually think that would be pretty lame as a cover, especially since this is the climax of one of the most exciting arcs in the series. Not really the moment to put a bunch of secondary characters on the cover.
It looks cool and all but it should look much better with the content that is end this arc. I was kinda hoping it would have all the straw hats putting their fist in the air at the end of the arc.

Well, FUNimation could either dub the 2nd, 3rd or 4th Special since they all end with Family. As long as a TV Special is released, we'll have a cleaner version of a part of Family. 128 is by any means not a TV Special, it's just when it aired in Japan, it had the aired the song instead of the usual ending. Other series have alterated their endings for a single episode and they haven't be classed as a special so it's just a one off change in this case.

As for the debate, basically, it's a song that appears as an ending theme to one of the Specials. On the Japanese TV Broadcast of episode 128, they apparently played the "Family" song as the ending theme (Because it's the Straw Hats singing about "Family" just before the big "Vivi Salute" scene at the end of Alabasta)
Apparently, this Ending was JUST for the TV broadcast. When Toei released the DVDs with episode 128, the normal ending was used.
When Kaizoku Fansubs, who uses the DVDs for their fansubs got to that episode, they made their own creditless version of the song using clips from old episodes.
The General question here is, will FUNi go with the supposed "Broadcast" version and show the "Family" ending, or will we get what was on the Japanese DVDs, and it'll just use the normal ending with no changes.
Now, EXACTLY how much of this process was on the Broadcast version of the episode and how much K-F made themselves isn't 100% Positive. Do we even have confirmation that the song aired on TV at all? And that K-F didn't do the "Family" ending theme entirely on their own accord?

If you are an Amazon shopper, prices for "certian" items go up and down randomly(or to meet the behavior of those buying them)… I can't really predict the frequency though....
I heard there was some plugins that has such a feature, but I never got around it.

Just reading the past pages about K-F. Damn! They sure changed into a bunch of douchebags. To think I actually respected them at one time. I remember when they said they'd be happy to give up subbing if someone bought and released the series uncut here. But then that was a long time ago in the "dark age" of One Piece fandom (IE 4Kids on the air, relicensing looked next to impossible). I guess it was just an empty promise when an official Uncut release looked impossible. And when the series DID get released, I thought it was understandable that they wanted to continue releasing Water 7/Enies Lobby episodes especially since I found them better than Gerusama.
I'm surprised they have the gall to insult Funimation when they use their awkward Nakama translations. Even back in the beginning I remember thinking how strange it sounded for Luffy to be going around saying "I want her/him to be my crewmate" and then Funi's official release comes out and it's "I want him to join my crew". Is it really that hard? That sounds so much better!
And of course I think their Binks' Sake translation towers over fan efforts (no offence to the likes of Yibis which I find far better than K-F) and certainly doesn't give off a "Speed Sub" vibe, that's just plain Ass-talking.

Pell doesn't fight, he just blows himself up. Chaka gets owned in one hit. Cobra doesn't do much either. Meanwhile, we have still two SH fights left, plus two Luffy vs. Crocodiles.

Actually if you see a good price, but don't have enough money to buy it say that week, try adding it to your cart and then click Save to Buy Later.
I JUST bought a new 37" HDTV and the price was going up and down randomly. I saved it in my cart when it was $565. It seemingly ran out of stock and went up in price from their other outlets/merchants. But a week later, even though the 565 Price wasn't listed at all, I STILL got it for that price since I saved it in my cart. Go me!

The war in Alabasta has reached its climax in the capital city of Alubarna as five separate factions clash (the Royal Guards led by King Cobra, the Rebel Army led by Kohza, the Marines led by Tashigi, the Baroque Works led by Crocodile, and, of course, the Straw Hat Pirates). Three of Crocodile's Officer Agents have been defeated by the Straw Hats but two of the most powerful Agents are ready to fight. Ms. Doublefinger (the cafe owner turned dominatrix) squares off against Nami and displays her deadly ability to turn her entire body into spikes. Fortunately, Nami is prepared for her first solo battle with a new weapon invented for her by Usopp called the Clima Tact. Unfortunately, there are some whimsically impractical party effects mixed in with the more useful weather based attacks of this weapon, and Nami struggles to figure out how to use it correctly as she runs for her life. When Nami deals the final blow, it isn't anything like what she or Ms. Doublefinger expects.
Meanwhile, Zoro takes on the equally powerful and serious Mr. 1, who can render his body as hard and strong as steel, as well as convert his fingers and arms into slashing blades that can cut through stone like butter. Unsure if he could ever defeat a steel man, Zoro remembers a crucial lesson from his old sword master that could be the key to victory.
At the same time, Princess Vivi is getting ready to destroy the royal palace rather than let it fall into Crocodile's hands, but Crocodile arrives just then to stop her. Crocodile then reveals his true objective in Alabasta, the Pluton Poneglyph. This ancient inscribed stone, which only Ms. All Sunday can read, is the key to finding one of the world's most powerful ancient weapons. Soon after, Luffy arrives with the king's messenger, Pell, ready for a another match with Crocodile. Luffy has figured out Crocodile's weakness; Crocodile cannot convert to sand when he is wet, so Luffy carries a barrel of water into battle. Luffy is able to land some punches on Crocodile, but ultimately the barrel breaks and Crocodile knocks Luffy out again.
Crocodile then forces the king to lead him to the Poneglyph while he puts his last trump card in play, a massive bomb in the clock tower aimed at the battleground where thousands of Royal and Rebel soldiers are fighting. It's up to Vivi and Pell to stop the bomb and the Baroque Works agents about to fire it and one of them may not live through the operation.
Luffy confronts Crocodile one last time at the Poneglyph and finally beats him. Tashigi arrests Crocodile, but the Marines are eager to capture any pirate or criminal they can find, and that includes the Straw Hat Pirates. By the way, I plan at some point to upload the rest of the unreleased music from One Piece. I know that the cues are in episodes 19, 46, 49, 86, 101 and the upcoming 130. If any other episodes have unreleased cues, please inform me so I can add them to my list

Caitlin Glass IS doing Ending 7. Mike McFarland told in person at the London Expo after I played a few seconds of the song (so he could remember the beat) that she will be singing the song. He later told me over Facebook who did Ending 8 although i'm keeping that a secret for now. Sorry but I don't want tor reveal the way in which it was recorded so i'll just Shissou up now.
(Yes that was a hint of who wrote the lyrics and who sang. Look up the dubbed version of the song over youtube)

Also, I found a site, which illegally streams dubbed OP. I'm surprised because it's a pretty big site and FUNi is pretty good at locating faggots who put up their dubbed episodes.

Trying to figure out how to divide up my Christmas money (the stuff I have gotten so far - waiting on two Christmas-related gatherings to commence) but Fifth voyage will PROBABLY be involved, especially if RightStuf has a funimation sale.
Seeing as Soul Eater is coming out in February (and at that early February) and the RightStuf sales usually tend to highlight something big coming out soon (there was a Funimation sale at RightStuf focusing on One Piece shortly before its release if memory serves correctly), my guess is that the next Funi sale will be Soul Eater themed and, since it's just around the corner, is going to be their next sale or the sale after that to capitalize on that release.
That is what I am waiting for also I will be buying the following if/when it happens

I'm waiting to see if Amazon lower the price for Season 2, fifth voyage this upcoming week or not. Since they did it to Season 2, Fourth Voyage in the last week or so of preordering to $34.99 (Which is the price of it now.) And plus I have to order a book at amazon as well, when I order Season 2, Part 5.
I got Season 1 Voyage 2- Season 2 Voyage 3 for Christmas. 
I would've gotten Voyage 4, but it came out too late and it wouldn't have arrived (I live in Germany). I'll probably just buy it when I have enough money for it and Voyage 5 Luckily, they usually cost "only" about 25 € So, it doesn't seem impossible to get the res of the money till Jan 15th..
I'm almost done watching One Piece Season Two: Fourth Voyage, I've still got to watch Episodes 101-103.
By the way, has the episode count been confirmed for One Piece Season Two: Fifth Voyage yet?
