Tom Goes to the Mayor and Tim & Eric's Awsome Show Great Job

It has come to my attention that I am not the only that likes the comedy from Tim & Eric so here is a thread devoted to it.

While I like Tom Goes to the Mayor, I would say that I like Tim & Eric's Awsome Show Great Job! better. The humor is similar but I think that Tim & Eric have more freedom as their are many characters they can play rather than just Tom and the Mayor in Jefferton.

My Favorite Character has to be Dr. Steve Brule, I think that John C. Reily plays that character very well, which adds to the aukward humor.

Tom Goes to Mayor was one of my favorite shows during the beginning, but kinda fizzled out near the end, but I haven't seen a whole episode of Awesome Show thought it was unfunny.

Tom Goes to the Mayor has its moments. (The episode where Tom tried to save a Bird Sanctuary is probably my favorite.)

But I've honestly tried to watch some Awesome Show Great Job, and it sucks.

Love both of them. Though Awesome Show is usually more a hit or miss whereas Tom was almost always golden.

Tom Goes to the Mayor was pretty awesome. I need to finish watching the box set some day. I always got annoyed how everyone tried to use the animation style against it; it made the show even funnier. It's probably one of Adult Swim's all-time best shows, imo.

I hate Awesome Show. I've only seen one skit on it that I thought was funny.

Agreed, there are some skits on there that absolutly abhor such as the Uncle Muscles Crap.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite Tom Goes to the Mayor episode. Pioneer Week, WW Lazerz and Rats Off To Ya are classics.

Tom was okay, but nothing special. Great Job is a pile of shit which needs scooped, tho with how [as] is currently…I hate to see what comes next.

Rats Off to Ya is a truly legendary piece of animation. The style of the whole was amazing, the mayor going from regular to some sort of wacky grin was very entertaining.

Not very familiar with Awesome Show, but the bits of its I've seen aren't particularly good.

I've only seen a handful of Tom goes to the Mayor, and that's the one that stood out most for me. the Mayor going around with that ridiculous hat on killed me.

Never seen awesome show, the commercials look pretty dumb to me.

TGTTM was pretty hilarious. Never saw most of the later episodes, but what I did see was great.

Never saw Awesome Show, I practically never watch TV anymore anyway though.

Dr. Steve Brule is the saving grace of Tim and Eric. Some of their other sketches are okay, but Steve Brule is consistently great.
