That's the secret! Garp is a Gyojin… Yeah. No wonder it was such an embarrassment that Luffy couldn't swim (before he ate his DF).
Anyway, I don't think the giant monster thing ate the Rolling Pirates. They just were talking about them seeing it in the fog.

I think he used someone else's translation for this.
So you should probably take it up with them. -
Camie's the mermaid that Arlong's octopus crewmate what his name .. Hachi or something saved from the fishmen yakuza right. And FYI gyojin is fishman walks on two legs while jingyo is merman have fishtails, if I am not wrong :)

Thought it was "ningyo"… but that is supposedly just mermaid while "hangyojin" is merman. (gyojin is fishman though)
But I don't know if Oda ever used the term "hangyojin", so it could be possible that he refers to "male mermaid" as ningyo as well.
He does at least consider fishmen and mermaids/mermen two seperate races and the island should be fishman island.
(Note: I do not know any Japanese. I only go by what other people tell me and this is what Aohige_AP told me in the spoiler or chapter discussion section)

Please, don't use "fuck" or any other extreme words like that in One Piece again.
Also, it wouldn't hurt to translate Mugiwara.
Other than that, great wonderful fast chapter!
