The discussions are always interesting in the Spoiler threads but once the chapter comes out, most of the conversation never leaves that spoiler. Maybe if the Spoiler thread was changed to the Chapter thread, more relevant conversations would go on/continue on the chapter.
Granted if that would seclude everyone that doesn't read spoilers, then this would be pointless.
Well, I don't go to the spoiler threads anymore but aren't most of the conversations that do go on speculation due to a lack of info on the chapter? While I know there's discussions after most of the info on the chapter comes out, people have discussions in the full chapter thread and it's their choice if they don't bring the discussion into it.
Also, it can be quite confusing. Someone who doesn't wanna be spoiled to goes into the thread and sees a cam pic right in their face they'll be quite upside…there's also the truth that people use a chapter discussion thread being there as indication that the full chapter is out.
Making it one discussion would cause the person to keep checking it to see if it's still spoilers or the chapter is actually out now. There's also the fact that people want to go in their to discuss the chapter, and not have to sort through pages of people talking about the spoilers and speculating.
All in all, things are far more organized as it is.
Yeah, nobody wants to get spoiled about Perona's Astral Projection coming Back to take back the SH's souls to their respective bodies, so please, don't ask for something like this. It's obvious why it's important to divide the spoilers and the chapter discussions.
I think what myoga wants to say is that when the chapter comes out, the admins change the spoiler thread into a chapter thread so discussions can continue.
So people who don't read spoilers wait untill the spoiler thread becomes a chapter thread.
And the people who read the spoilers can just continue without having to start the whole conversation again in the ch thread.
And on the same time we can get lost of all the "first post, second post" posts (for those who wants to stop the practice of course).
So all in all a very good idea Myoga.
I wouldn't like to see this happen. Narutofan does this and they end up with mammoth 200-page-long threads where I have no idea where the spoiler threads ended and the chapter discussion began.

Going on what Denimjo said, it'd honestly be a pain trying to attempt to follow a 70-100 page monster thread, and it really wouldn't make for a very cohesive read.

Not sure why people can't pick up those same conversations within' the new thread? Hell, pretty sure that's what usually ends up happening anyways.

i think thats the perfect reason why the spoiler thread should be locked. Hell you shouldn't even let ppl discuss spoilers all the random crap that spews out of peoples mouths
Or the threads should be named "Discussion about your random thoughts after reading spoilers."
