for the 360?
HOLY PENIS WHAT A SCOOP!
god they are so ugly
they have broken knees and shoulders and can't stop breaking wind. help them.
Their designs are pretty gay (and I don't mean happy)
According to dkvine.com…
Over at the Rare Witch Project, Gregg Mayles himself has given the forum the gift of 12 questions and 2 additional bonus questions.
We learned quite a lot from Mr. Mayles. In a particular order:-Banjo 3 will take place in the current time as Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie did.
-Multiplayer's planned for 3, but it won't be like Tooie's, nor will there be any FPS segments.
-A reconfirmation of the Jiggy system from previous games is mentioned, as well as expecting changes to the Notes and Jinjos.
-According to Mayles, we haven’t seen the new style of gameplay in any game before.
-Old levels from previous games will be in the game, but not as we expect. Whether or not Stop 'N Swap's involved isn't known, although it probably will be anyway.
-"Her silly comments will be a pain, yes the witch will rhyme again." Hell. Yes.
-Rare's thankfully learned from one of Tooie's mistakes and has decided to not make the worlds much larger. Thank Christ.
-A new hub world will be in the game.
-There are some clues in the Christmas card relating to Threeie. Possibly including the cleverly covered "CUNT."
-Mayles confirms that the game is more than halfway complete.
-Mumbo Jumbo will be returning, but with a new role, "as does Humba."Overall, a really good amount of information considering Rare's secrecy. For the complete list of answers, click here and here.
I'm a big fan of the Banjo series, but due to my lack of a 360, I'll have to miss out on this game.
What did Stop N' Swap do anyway, I remember glitching my way into the egg in the desert level and getting everything else legit.
Fuck that. I am not even gonna bother trying to find out if this game'll be good or something. THAT'S FUCKED UP! What happened to the good ol' not retarded looking Banjo Kazooie?
I'm gonna play the old shit. Right here on my N64.
I'll just post the trailer for the hell of it

Kazooie looks more feminine now
Hrm…
Banjo still looks really retarded.
"na-huck"
lol, more like "da fuck?"
I like Kazooie's new look, but ....Banjo's...a big no for me. XD
lol this reminds me i was going to post this but never got around to doing it

oh rare!
Wow. I really don't care.
Rare hasn't done anything worthwhile since its N64 days.

oh rare!
If Conker's not shitfaced I don't want it.
That's disturbing.
Seriously…what the fuck, xbox? I know they're trying to make kid oriented shit, but...they're trying too hard.
Rare finally comes out of the furry closet
Everything that was good at Rare during the N64 days became free radical design. The Rare that exists today are just a fragmented spec of their original selves. There is no point comparing their games now to the ones they made ten years ago, it is a different company pretty much, especially without Nintendo behind them.
I'll probably buy this game anyway though, being the B-K bitch that I am. Development info on this game has been really few and far between. Which means the game is either really good or really poor.
I'm vouching for really good with a retarded ass looking Banjo. That makes me so mad…
I'm getting awful curious though. Tell me what it's like when you do play it.
The Fast and the Furriest?…
I think I'm the only person that exists that likes the new designs.
I think this game will be awesome, and will blow everyone's minds. It's fucking Banjo. (That and the "LOL RARE SUCKS NOW EVERYONE LEFT" argument holds no water at all, since the Banjo team is still intact.) I'd also go all out to say Viva PInata is one of their best, but hey.
LOLLER. I am so easily swayed. Maybe I'll give this game a chance, but I doubt I'll really get to sit down and play it…since I don't own a 360...
but my opinion still stands on that damn Fast and the Furriest...wtf.
Honestly, I thought Rare sucked after the first Banjo game.

I remember playing Teamsplitters 2 and seeing the Goldeneye-esque health meter. That game was like everything awesome about Goldeneye, except wacky and awesome characters instead of a cast of Bond characters and a million generics.
I think my favorite part was reading everyone's profile. gunny stuff.
(_Time_Splitters)
I love Banjo and all but it's hard to get excited when I won't be owning a 360 for a long, long time. Though I did get pretty excited when the trailer was first released.
Yeah, sorry. At first I was typing "TF2" because that's the game with a T in front and a 2 at the back that I've been thinking of recently.
So that kind of stuck when I decided to type "Timesplitters" out.
wakka wakka
i wonder how this game'll do
i mean, most of their target audience is playing wii
I love the new designs, honestly. I loved the first two games so I'd probably love this one but I don't have a 360
I…..didn't know about this. I also don't have a 360.
The designs look odd. Although, I may make an attempt to look into it, I have often liked Rare games anyway.
I really loved the others, and Donkey Kong 64.
?
This game was announced so long ago and the trailer is so old, having not seen anything new I've been wondering, are they still making it?
I'll get it since I got a 360 for Christmas and see how it is. I also loved the first two, but I never beat the first one.

It's got a release date set for late 08, so yeah.
Ah, I tought it was already out.
I remember someone posting about how ugly was Banjo some months ago.
I won't buy the next Mario game unless he loses that beer belly.
In other news, the games existence was alone to convince me to buy a 360 someday. If it's any good then Microsoft gets me to open my wallet.
Buying a new system just for Banjo-Kazooie sounds depressing
I would rather go back and play the first two Banjo games;
It's been so long since I last played them I forgot what the fuck even happens. Everything will still be fresh.
Hopefully this game will actually redeem Rare's reputation which they seem to like having get run into ground.
The world will find out soon enough.
@Cap'n:

Sounds awesome to me.
It's more of a challenge than anything else for me.
What happened to the good ol' not retarded looking Banjo Kazooie?
Oh my God, I think you've just proven that it's possible to travel between alternate dimensions! Quick, we've got to find a way to get you back to the dimension where Banjo Kazooie didn't look retarded, before you cause some kind of space-time catastrophe!
same ugly only now with 20% more realism!! order NAOW
It seems like that ship has sailed.
Seriously, when you think that the last BK game came out during the Clinton administration, it just seems awkward to me. Games have moved on to bigger and better things, and it seems like BK hasn't. Man, I wish it was 2001 again.
It would truly be awesome if Rare and Nintendo somehow got along and made BK and BT for VC, Banjo&Kazooie a a playable in Brawl and a new BK game on DS.
I hope that this new game will be bad, since I will never get a 360, I couldnt stand to miss it out if it was a good one…
+I'm a huge fan of Banjo-Kazooie, so I'll play this game one way or another.
+The new designs look good.
+Holy fuck, you're just now finding this out? This shit has been revealed for years now.

The first Mario game came out before many people on this forum were born.
He said last, not first.
and mario games today don't even resemble what it used to be, or really the last game before it(talking about the big titles)
While the little we've seen of Banjo makes it look like another collect-a-thon type game from the N64 era.
I'd rather see them make a sequel to bomberman 64
Banjo-Tooie was just so convoluted and messy that it left a lasting bad impression on me for the Banjo series. So I'm not exactly anxious to see what Rare can do now.
Banjo Tooie was probably the best constructed game I played on the N64.
Maybe nostalgia is messing with me.
I just remember so many shitty textures, so much slowdown and fluctuating framerates, and the incredibly boring levels that were as big as all creation (the dinosaur world was the fucking worst).
And splitting Banjo and Kazooie up was an interesting idea but it just added to the tediousness. Same with Mumbo (this was a pretty big letdown for me).
I liked both of the Banjo titles. I really didn't have a problem with either of 'em. But then again, I was nine.
I think the only boring level was the one where you were high in the sky. I forget the name, something like Cluckhoo Castle. But man, that was boring. It was just a mini-game fest.
