Do any of you guys have Rainbow Six: Vegas on the 360? Well, if you do, go play it right now. Odds are, you'll be told that an update is available. After the downloading ends, go play single player story mode. After you get to Vegas, make your way across the first casino area. After you're safe, take a look at what's on the wall next to the utility closet door. You'll be surprised to see an ad for Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles.

That's right, the so-called "update" does nothing but put an ad into your game.

I'm really stunned. This is without a doubt the most astonishing thing I've ever seen. It's one thing to put ads into a game while you make it, I understand that. But to put new ads in after the fact for no reason other than to make a quick buck just sickens me.

It's just a matter of trying to make the gaming experience more realistic. Because people can't look left or right without being bombarded by twenty or so ads in real life it just wouldn't feel like a big city without reminding you every five seconds that there's shit you need to buy.

I gave up caring on this when it became 'The Heisman Trophy Presented by Suzuki'.

That's truly all the update does, than that's just stupid as hell.

Although I agree with Deus, it makes the game more realistic that way.

The updates are basic tweaks and stuff, not so much ads. Lots of other games and shit do it. Hell, most animes/mangas whore themselves out all the time. I dun see why this is so shocking or new XD

I understand that. The reason I thought it was worth mentioning is that they actually put NEW ads into the game. It's not the same as putting ads in while your making the game.
