Well Brook has finally made his appearance in the Anime. And his voice is a lot way more exposed with his dialog in episode 337 rather than the Gear Spirit clips which were mostly just yells and grunting. His voice is completely what I had imagined it would sound like, not to mention his Yohohohohoh laugh. In case you hadn't heard it you can check it out here.

I really liked it. He fits Brooke's every mood. I like all the changing tones too, from singing, to goofy, to gentleman.

Excellent voice for Brook I think, almost a good a match as Franky.

I absolutely love how they did the 'pants' scene, and how he alternates between laughy and serious. Makes me want to see that scene even more now.

Well I haven't gotten that far in the Manga yet, but I can already tell I love this character I would say he just might be my favorite OP character yet, but I've said that about a lot of characters, I'll wait and see if this is just a whim or not.. If Manga fans approve, that's all the more better

But yeah, his voice is absolutely perfect. I loved how goofy he sounded normally and suddenly changed to super serious mode when saying "Please allow me to see your panties."
And it's a good thing the "Yohoho" sounds natural, too. Some of the One Piece laughs have been sounding rather...forced. Blackbeard's a good example of that, as it just sounds like the seiyuu's simply reading "Zehahaha" out loud.

Which pretty much perfectly fits the character who´s a spooky weirdo. Another voice might be less annoying but also less in character. That said I absolutely LOOOOOOOOVE his voice. It´s been a while ever since I´ve been so pleased with a voice choice in the anime from the beginning.
Freakin' awesome, it's great to finally hear a voice in my head for him when I read the manga.

He didn't sound at all like I thought he would, but that's okay, 'cause I'm usually not very good at picturing voices in my head anyway. It was quirky and weird, which is obviously a thing. Am I the only one who thought he'd sound like an old man, though?
I can't really say that I enjoyed the episode as a whole, though. The pacing was awful, and the animation just looked half-assed, as usual. And man, that new opening's gay. I think I'll just watch the key scenes of this arc instead of following it all. The Odz fight is gonna be a pain in the ass if it lasts 3 months.

The voice is perfect. Like I said in the raw thread, I like his singing voice since he's going to need a good singing voice if he's going to be the musician. He's gotta sing too. I like his seiyuu's acting, which is saying a lot since I usually won't say anything like that about a voice that doesn't speak English.
I'm sure all us Brook fans agree that the voice makes us love him even more.
Ah yes, Brook, the human paradox: He is supposed to be dead, but is alive; claims to be gentleman but is often rude; supposed to be only a skeleton, but has hair. This voice accentuates his ridiculous puns and moments of seriousness very well. When Nami kicks him and cries out "She is so severe!", he cracked me up.
I actually pictured his 'Yohoho' to be slightly raspier, but overall I rather liked the voice they choose for him. If anything I can imagine that the new voice will make Brook's hilarious antics all the more giggle worthy. xD

Yeah, amazing. The BG music was also beautiful. Brooke's "serious" voice was something I didn't see coming.
I think the only thing I found wrong was how Nami's scary whining sounded like my dog being thirsty.

He did.
But didn't you remember? Luffy can take down several Shichibukai members, yet can get pulverized by Nami. Nami has special powers when beatin up strong folk in comical situations.

I don't understand Japanese yet, So i watched it raw and just figured out what was going on. I was a little surprised by his voice but after thinking about it I liked it. I always imagine voices wrong anyway.
I honestly thought his voice would be deeper and raspier, but I like this much better ^_^ its really fun! and I love how he laughs XD

I didn't really like it that much at first, since it differed from what I was wanting of his voice, but that's pretty much standard. I've grown to like it a whole bunch though.

I agree, his voice is truly awesome. I was so exited to hear it I just had to watch the episode raw and I'm so happy. I loved the panty line. So incredible. I can't wait til the next episode(and the next chapter). Also does anyone else think Brook could become the most popular One Piece character? He's just awesome like that.
Edit: Wow, according to Wikipedia, Brook's Seiyuu also does the Japanese voices for Scooby Doo, Elmer Fudd(Already mentioned) and I.R.Baboon.

I honestly didn't expect how Brook voice would maybe a less lively voice, or an old man's voice.. And i was suprised and satisfied with his voice. His voice and way of speaking is suitable for a gentleman :3 I CAN'T WAIT to listen to his singing/playing violin though.
And i wish he joins the Mugiwara so that we will listen to his voice more than Thriller Bark :3

I can't believe any of you have not even touched on one of the best parts of the episode: him spouting "Beautiful!" after noting how stunning Nami is.
Maybe it's just me, but I get a kick out of random English in anime (such as Franky screaming "AN ORANGE?!" back when the SH were forcing him to join.)
Brook's voice fits fine for the comical parts, but I am a bit worried that he might not be able to pull off the serious moments later. (Kinda like Buggy. I just COULDN'T take that guy seriously.)

I was in the same camp regarding Franky's voice. I didn't have access to the Water 7 episodes at the time, so all I had to go by were manga scans. Then when I heard his voice, I thought it was completely different than I imagined (especially considering how they used the same seiyuu for Bon Kurei and Jango 
). But like Brook, I dug the voice.

I wasn't sure what I was going to think while listening to him sing initially.. but then when he spoke, I was sold. It's SOO perfect! The part where he asked to see Nami's panties, then the way his voice squeels up after laughing is soo funny.
It wasn't as I had imagined while reading the manga, but it was great never the less. It kinda reminded me of Jerry Jewell's voice.
