! Looks like they really are skipping around. Brownbeard isn't supposed to be shown until Chapter 661. I expect 583 will have the rest of 658 and a bit of 659, and 584 will have the rest of 659+ parts of 660 and 661.

! Well if my recollection of the chapters is correct it looks like they'll be covering 9 pages of kid antics in 658, and they've already animated the rest with Master, "Bird lady", and Luffy's gang.
The preview for 584 really makes me think they'll be covering the whole of 659 since those Sanji, Franky, Chopper, Smoker, and Brooke scenes are all from that chapter (and that's actually when Brownbeard shows up but we're not formally introduced, I'd wager they're foregoing the black silhouette to just give a glance of his beard-braid)
! This makes me hopeful we'll get "that guy" as a cliffhanger next week, but I'm also curious about what they'll be padding the rest of 583 with… -

My predection is they'll cover the fight with sanji,nami and chopper and franky from 658 like you said then they'll take the luffy and co. scene where they cross the river with the banana boat and the episode will end with a shadowed brownbeard as the cliffhanger saying zoro is the guy who cut down his friends since he has a katana. that my guess lets see if im right lol

The Toriko x Dragon Ball x One Piece special will also take over the timeslot April 7th, so that's three breaks for the anime.
The 3 chapter buffer is really nice, but I doubt it'll make a difference.

I got two of my friends to start watching the One Piece anime recently and they both have fallen in love. One of them is about 13 episodes in, the other almost 20.

Looks like 586 might cover less than a chapter, or just flip back and forth around two or more chapters.

I think they will just cover 660 in #585, the parts that looks like from 661 are actually filler that I think it will serve as an opening to the episode. So, 586 will cover all of 661, IMO.

Because, if memory serves, almost nothing happens between the events of last episodes and what we see in the previews for 586. They're even holding off on the Brownbeard stuff. So I really don't know what they're gonna do tonight other than running on loop and filler.
