It's just what the title says. Every known Shichibukai is accompanied by an animal theme:
Dracule Mihawk's is the hawk
Donquixote Doflamingo's is the flamingo
Bartholomew Kuma's is the bear
Gecko Moria's is the gecko
and former Shichibukai Sir Crocodile was apparently the crocodile
Do you believe that Blackbeard will adopt an animal theme, now that he is a Shichibukai? If yes, what animal do you think would suit him? XD

I dunno really, I believe Oda originally developed the Shichibukai to be all animal themed. But then when he went down the path and decided Blackbeard would become one he had already fleshed out the character and wasn't gonna change it.

I think that Blackbeard won't have one, and that this is what will foreshadow his rebellion/defection, since he doesn't belong.

Blackbeard will make up for everything at the end after revealing that his master plan also involved creating the fake name of Marshall D. Teach and using a "addwhateverwordisusedinenglishtocallthosewordsthatcouldbemadeupwiththesamelettersofotherwords" (In this case Blackbeard) as a nickname to hide his true name, Bear D. Black.
Is that or Kuma was just worried because Blackbeard joining would mean the end of the Zoo-Themed Halloween parties of the Schichibukai.

I, like a lot of fans, am under the impression that BB will betray the others eventually, so I doubt it matters.

I think blackbeard is trying to get in with the other colors. But, there has to be something important with him, if he named him after a legendary Pirate. Why would you name someone that won't be a big character after someone legendary? Blackbeard, will be big.
yea i also thought it was weird how bb had a color theme like the yonkou but not an animal theme like his shichibukai peers. bb is easily going to become a huge villain and most likely a yonkou (i hope he beats the fat one and luffy beats kaidou), and the series` final villian.

Animal theme? Looking at nose and eyes, BB reminds me of a crow or a vulture. Right now the three powers are being shaken, so I'm guessing someone is going to disappear somewhere amongst the 4 emperors.

Seriously, though, Tavnazian Devils are ravenous, savage creatures (especially when feeding), and can eat up to 40% of their body weight in 30 min. They can also take down prey much larger than them. They also have bad body odor (much like Teach).

I'd say Hyena if it hadn't already been taken… Hyenas are the natural predators of Monkeys (besides us).
I'd have to say Black Bear or Tazmanian Devil, still. It's the closest animal that fits him.
