Notice how Luffy begins to look like Dragon? He has the same big dark rings under his eyes, and his hair suddenly goes back into spikes, just like Dragon.

Geez, this is the only forum I know of that gets so upset when someone makes a thread that isn't full of momentous, groundbreaking information. Not every topic has to be amazing enough to end up twenty-plus pages long. :ermm:

Actually, I like this idea. Although can we say Nightmare Luffy is evil?
I think its more of a "desperation" thing, or a committed thing. Like someone noted he got this look with Gear 2 as well. So perhaps its a "willing to die for" look or something.
Do we see this in any of the other Ds or is this just a Monkey thing?

Let's face it, Wolfpox… you're one of the awesome theory guys here, and I have high respect for you, but because of Oda's art style, you can match many characters to each other. Ace and Shanks look exactly alike, and Ace has freckles, which is a genetic trait of those with a red-haired parent, but they're not related.

To me Luffy doesn't look like his dad or granddad. Ace and Luffy look more a like. I think Luffy got his looks from his mom. I wonder is Oda ever going to show Luffy mom. How crazy Luffy family is I won't be surprise if Luffy's mom is powerful too.

Oda isn't going to reveal Luffy's mom (most likely) or much more of any of their childhoods, because the Strawhats need to be relatable. Kids are supposed to associate the characters with themselves.

Nami's parents will probably be shown. Her father, I'm guessing, is Dr. Vegabank (Vegapunk, Begabank, whatever). As for Sanji's, from the impression I'm getting, he was raised by a womanizing father who was kind but had a foul mouth (this was before Zeff), and sent him to apprentice on Orbit. I think you all know who I think Robin's dad is, and Franky's parents MAY make an appearance (wouldn't it be awesome if Kaidou was Franky's dad? A little cliche, but awesome).

No, doofus. Robin was the youngest person we've seen so far to have a Devil Fruit, she can read a forbidden language that only the Oharans and one other guy could read, and her dad is mentioned as being in the same line of work as Olivia, who had a bounty. If it's not obvious to you who Robin's father is, then you're either just stubborn or skeptical.
