What do you guys think of this anime. i personally like it but for the first 3 episodes thats alot of info you must learn-_-

Pretty cool show, but I'm really hoping that you-know-who didn't really die just now. He's the only truly entertaining character (well, I thought the snake guy was cool, too).

for people who have seen it continue reading on, i was like what the hell one of the clans lost 5 people while the other clan only lost 1 that was so unfair and i have a feeling that the clan with less people will win.

yeah i enjoy this show, the animation is really good, the music are cool and the chara design is interresting.

what i also like in this anime is that there isn't really any bad guy, it just a fight for power.

My friend keeps bugging me to watch it. And I keep telling him the same reason why I don't watch it everytime, its because in the first episode one of the old guys looks like he has a nutsack for a chin! There I said it! Thats the only thing keeping me from watching magical ninjas own things!

Basilisk is a great anime. My two favorite characters are
From Iga: Yashamaru
From Kouga: Kisarigi SaemonAmazing how they both become intertwined with each other. So far I've only watched 13 episodes, but that's about 55% through. Need to watch more. At first I wanted the Iga to win, but after getting to know more Kouga, like Saemon I'm not sure…

Just read it the last two nights. A nice little series. I really loved the various abilities (hm, ninjas with uber-hax eye powers; i could swear that I have seen this somewhere else before..)
But it started too fast and ended too swiftly. It would have been much better, if the author had taken his time and properly introduced all the ninjas of the Kouga and Iga before the killing started; expanded the fights (though on the other hands: it was refreshing to see, how most of the ninjas didnt fucked around and directly aimed for the kill) and in general would have given more backstory to the characters.! And I would have loved to see how a direct confrontation between Gennosuke and Oboro played out. Would her powers just plain cancel Gennosukes ability or would he reflect her powers and let her cancel herself out?
