@AD-HD:
Eh, I know. That's my point.
I was in agreeance, my friend.
But who cares about what makes sense, we'll just have Zoro win for the sake of a ''nice change of pace.''
I mean, really people.

Oh, okay. I misunderstood.
Beautiful quote <3
This day belongs to you (in soul caliber 3 narrator voice)
I still hate Vivi. Don't forget that.

He may with the ridiculous amount of Vivi haters in this place..
Anyways, Muddy is great. It seems like some other case of apprentice surpassing the master.

Vivi haters are like chicken wings. You can't tell them apart. But with the right dipping, they learn their place.
Anyways, I'm thinking that Kuma might have a sword. Or just maul people with his bear hands. Ha ha…
yea...
Kylara has started posting the raws so it should be here soon, i guess.
I dont know where, but i belive someone said the sound effects were that of flipping pages rather then scribbeling, even though it looks like he is holding a penlike object in his hands. (he could be holding someonething like the jews use when they read the tora though…)
Hm, if that´s all then it isn´t really more of a guess. I mean if the book is closed then you have to open it in the first place to write something in it. But either way I don´t really consider sfx as a confirmation for something. At least not if it´s sfx for flipping pages contra those for scribbling something. But thanks for the info Gorlom.^^
OOOOooooohhh! I just discovered Kuma's secret!
That's not a Bible! It is a travel catalog! Maybe it is "the wayfarer's bible"… lol... Or a traveling diary of his.
So, Kuma can only teleport people to places where they wish to go. He asks people where. But here's the catch: Kuma must know where it is. So, he checks his travel catalog, finds a place suitable, and sends the victim there.
I AM A GENIUS!
(This post is actually half-serious. The theory is a serious one, but I myself take it with a grain of salt.)

Wasn't it open the whole time he was talking with Perona though? But you are right. sfx is not a confirmation of anything.
Decide: hmm that seems vaguely familiar… I think someone mentioned something like that already. =P

Nope, it was actually closed the entire time except for that one panel on page 15.

hmmm…. Quote, or it did not happen!
Kylara´s raw at MH is out. If it´s not ok to post the links here please delete this post mods. Otherwise here´s what everybody´s been waiting for:
i love how happy and grateful they were when they got their shadows back. I like how Oda displayed they're burning desire to being under the sun and how much they cherish it.
Has someone posted the JoJoHot raw?
Not sure if this is mentioned, but Zoro seems to be wearing high heels in the colorspread!

WTB ("want to buy" for those dont play mmo) UNSPOILED High-Res CS (God do I hate jojo for that)
Edit: Is Ussop wearing high heels in that CS? WTF Oda? Trying to send a message?
OP 483 by Franky House There you guys. Please Enjoy and have fun during the holidays.
Some people are actually saying that it's "Zoro's turn to beat a Shichibukai" and such. "Zoro's turn to shine". Yeah right. I suppose fighting one-on-one with a huge legendary monster powered by Luffy's shadow wasn't enough? He even freaking blocked entire punches out of Ozzy. Not to forget beating up a legendary samurai of some sort which was pretty much a highly upgraded version of their potential new crewmate (the one bag of bones which I hope dies in a fire so he won't join! ><).
Yeah. Zoro so needs to beat up Kuma on his own. Then he needs to walk to the coastline and strike down Cthulhu. Then maybe he's got about the same momentum in this arc as- …Hey look! Franky's a straw hat! Since when?!
All that talk about zoro beating kuma remind me when people were saying zoro will beat oz ALONE or back at enies lobby when some were saying the strawhat will take on each buster call ship alone like saul did….....................
Thanks god oda is more realist than his fans .
As for the current situation , i think that zoro will buy some time , there won't be any help from outside , remember that there is a person who can turn people invisible by touching them ; i think that's the main reason why absalom was shown conscious in this chapter .
OP 483 by Franky House There you guys. Please Enjoy and have fun during the holidays.
Thanks!
and to the Zoro theories-thanks god there are stil rational people here anyway.
i don't think the theory's about zoro are that far fetched. luffy has been the only one that got a huge upgrade to his fighting skills and i think it's time zoro and sanji got their huge upgrades. i know zoro used azura and sanji got the flame kick but i think they still got huge updates coming. i'm hoping sanji develops soru since he is a speed fighter and possibly some other technique. i'm not sure what big update zoro could use but i have a feeling it's coming. maybe zoro get's that big upgrade against kuma and sanji develops it in fishman island.
But why would Absalom help them? Absalom and Hogback are some of the more messed up villains. One wants to reign over graveyards and tries to force marriage over weak beautiful women. The other is a doctor who does not care about his patients and has a god-complex. Other characters that helped in the past, like Bon Kurei, had shown signs of being good or trying-to-be-good people before their "sudden" change of heart.
If they are to help the Strawhats, I hope Oda gives us a better motivation than "uh, we changed after we were beaten-up".
I hope Kuma is down after this fight. I don't care if Zoro beats him alone or if the crew fights together in order to beat him, but I do want to see Kuma down.
maybe they will be up to something bad and then kuma will spot them and try to kill them and they will end up teaming up with the strawhats. if that bible really is useful to kuma then absalom would be the perfect guy to steal it from him since he can get himself invisible.
I can see Captain Lola marrying Absalom.
I'm surprised so many people are suggesting that the SHs are going to beat Kuma. I mean, didn't each SH just get finished fighitng their own opponent, and then Odz? Wouldn't beating a shichibukai after that be a little unrealistic? I don't think they have much stamina left.
As for that guy whining over "Zoro hate", losing to Kuma at this point has no effect whatsoever on his future destined battle with Mihawk, or any of the SHs future battles for that matter. Hell, Mihawk and Whitebeard could probably slaughter Odz, yet the SHs just got done beating him in a team battle. We have a long series going on here, the SHs don't have to prove they're ready for a story arc that going to occur in maybe 400 chapters. Obviously, the SHs need to get bailed out of this fight or escape somehow.
Well 'that guy' has a name my friend. And if you ve read my post you should have detected the 'I write this shit out of pure boredom'-feel about it.
I can see it now….. the next chapter is going to be call "The End". That would be anti-main casters dream came true.
Ok, anyways. I think it's the usual someone is going to save the Strawhats. I don't think Luffy has the strength to fight another Shichibukai, after taking one out. Or, it's time for Zoro to shine or something. Or, Oda pulls literally a surprise out of his sleeves that could stun each and everyone here. (Excluding anti-main casters).
I hope Shanks makes an appearance. Or is that Oda finally has draw himself into a corner and couldn't get out of it.
OK! I think this is the best arc in One Piece until now! We got great fights, the fight against Moria was fantastic with Gear 2+3!!
Now we got Luffy in Gear 2+3 vs Moria and now we could see Zoro and maybe Sanji in Asura and Diable Jambe vs Bartholomew Kuma!
This is so great!
I mean we got:
Ussop vs Perona (great fight in which Ussop shined)
Brook vs Ryuma (very great fight but with a bad ending)
Zoro vs Ryuma (very spectacular fight)
Sanji vs Absalom (cool but a bit disapointing)
Strawhats + Brook vs Oz (great fight with great combo attacks)
Luffy vs Moria (very great, i thing the greatest fight until now)
and now Zoro vs Kuma ??
Why would Shanks apear NOW?Also out of nowhere? He was in the New World last time we checked and why would he come all the way by fishman island and past the Florian Triangle?
My theory is that the Rolling Pirates, will protect the Strawhats as a thankyou, letting them escape. Even though they will properly just be pumeled in an instant.
So lets take a look at the zombies at Thriller Park.
Wild Zombies: Lost there shadows to Moria
Animal Zombies: Same fate
Most of the General Zombies: Pummeled by Odz.
Ryuuma: Bursted into flames and died
Absalom: Still alive
Hogback: Same Fate
Perona: Got teleported by Kuma
Odz: Pummeled by Strawhats, Brook and Rolling Pirates.
So all in all, great arc. To see how he will end it now that Kuma is there is going to be interesting.
I´m quite curious how things with Kuma will turn out actually. I just don´t see him going down here. He´s been introduced over 200 chapters ago and having him go down in an arc where he only appears as a guest character doesn´t seem OP-esque. His appearance here is just like Aokiji´s at Longring Longland.
However I don´t see him letting the Strawhats go if he should because unlike Aokiji who was completely moving on his own will Kuma has been ordered to kill them and since he´s labeled as the only Shichibukai who really does what the WG wants it is to be expected that will do so. Can´t wait to see how Oda will let things turn out in the end.

Oh, you forgot:
why do people always think that the SHs need to be saved?? they're strong enough to defeat kuma, especially zoro. how can they be ready for the new world when somebody else save them.
zoro vs. kuma will definitely happens 1. zoro said that he will do this and 2. kuma begins with zoro.
Zoro also said that "hell do this" with Oz and you thought he meant hell take him on alone and we all know what hapened.
For anyone that just wants to look at a great HQ Raw of this chapter here ya go:
why do people always think that the SHs need to be saved?? they're strong enough to defeat kuma, especially zoro. how can they be ready for the new world when somebody else save them.
Erm, because they´re worn out possibly? I mean just look at how "successful" they went against Aokiji at the end of Longring Longland. And back then they´ve only dealt with a rather weak crew of pirates in a sports event. This time they´ve now battled a zombie twice the size of a giant who also had the strenght of their very captain himself. And all that AFTER they´ve already fought their respective fights.
It's made really obvious that the crew isn't going to just take down Kuma now. They're exhausted beyond belief, he's still at full power, and his strength is through the roof, especially since we don't even fully understand his power or its limits.
And besides, the plot would suck if they just took out two Shichibukai in an arc, especially so quickly.
Wow. This is getting better and better. Once again we are left wondering how this will play out in the end. None of the Forest Crew will be able to do anything and as said, the Straw Hat crew is dead tired, and Luffy is still knocked out for the moment.
Kuma has appeared to be quite impressive, and his powers are still unknown. Another thing we learned is that 1000 people around the sea got their shadows back, and Kaidou is a Yonkou. I didn't realize the Straw Hats were so close to the Yonkou in power, and it's certainly interesting. It also shows a little bit more how the Shichibukai, Marines, and Yonkou balance each other out some more.
Great chapter, and it still keeps you guessing as to how this will all play out.
another sweet chapter…looks like the straw hats might lose or maybe dragon will magically appear and save them
Deus ex machina for the win…....
Frankly, I'm hoping Enel will march into Thriller Bark with his army of moon gophers..
I can see Zoro beat Kuma… It would sky-rocket his bounty and we will know that he is still as strong as Luffy and can take on opponents of the same caliber... And for second I have a feeling that Jimbei will be Sanji's fight don't know why...
So we have 3 strawhats which can take on the top tier foes... If Luffy will beat everyone himself it would be odd...
We habe 7 Shichibukai (Ok maybe they doens't fight everyone)
4 Younkous and 3-Admirals so Luffy should have some crewmates who can take on such beasts...
EDIT:
Even Whitebeard have some upper underling (Ace) an maybe more who can take on opponents like Croc or Moria...
zora vs. kuma, i think is Aokiji incident all over again where they lose and have to retreat. Zoro don't have the strength to fight, he at his limit, fighting zombie, ryuma, and oz, he should be at his limit right now.
BUT if zoro somehow manage to defeat him on his OWN it mean his power is on pair with the shuchibukai, and it mean he even closer to the long awaited match with Mihawk.
A small question: it will have chapter next week or it is going to be the usual 'two week break'?
But why would Absalom help them? Absalom and Hogback are some of the more messed up villains.
If they are to help the Strawhats, I hope Oda gives us a better motivation than "uh, we changed after we were beaten-up".
You should remember of Helmeppo's case. He just seemed to be the typical spoiled prick, and look what happened to him.

You should remember of Helmeppo's case. He just seemed to be the typical spoiled prick, and look what happened to him.
Yeah, but Helmeppo was a kid without a real grasp of how the world works. Hogback and Absalom are adults on the Grand Line who have been through many battles.
If they DO help the strawhats, it'll be to save their own asses as well. It won't be for any "change of heart" bullcrap.
You should remember of Helmeppo's case. He just seemed to be the typical spoiled prick, and look what happened to him.
Yeah, but Helmeppo changed after his arc, when he was inducted into the marines and later trained by Garp. His change of heart did not happen in a single moment, but over several months of hard work.
A small question: it will have chapter next week or it is going to be the usual 'two week break'?
BF said most likely we'll get a chapter next week, and then no chapter for 2+(?) weeks.
Either way there's a big break coming in January.
It seems like a lot of Moria's victims weren't on Thriller Bark. That's interesting.
No I do not see Hogback and Abs fight for those who just humiliated them, I see them get away Perona-style out of TB.
As for the Zoro-Kuma thing I am more nuanced on the subject.
-It is true that my Zoro-fan-boy-heart hopes for a fight and a win for Zoro so he can prove to the world (WG Marines Pirates) that he is a force to be reckoned with. And at first sight it seems possible, because his opponent can be cut. You won't disagree with me that if Croc or Enel weren't Logias , that Zoro would have been capable of defeating them. Now Zoro has a good reading sense, he proved it with Kaku and his Soru, even if he couldn't see him, he always sensed Kakus position and attacked accordingly, Why couldn't he do the same with Kuma, he just must evade Kumas right hand and everything is OK.
-BUT I can't get the feeling out of me that Kuma is just another BusterCall or Raigou or Exploding nuclear bomb, that the SH will evade or stop in one way or another and get the hell out of there. I just hope it isn't some GUY that comes help them because that would be lame.
And I don't see the SH getting away without the RollingPirates, that would be a very cowardly thing to do.
A possible way is for Franky to make Brooks boat so everyone can escape, while Zoro and Sanji distract Kuma.
Whatever happens I will be satisfied. Damn I want it to be next week already.
If Absalom and Hogback did hear what Kuma said, they know that their life is also in danger. So their only chance is to team up with the SH.
So Kuma is planning on defeating the Strawhats 'eh? I really sense another Lougetown/Enies Lobby. The Mugiwara's have to escape fast, and in the middle of the action, some one has to make a decision on whether to go with the Strawhats very quickly.
(Lougetown = Smoker = Vivi)
(Enies Lobby = Garp = Franky)
and now
(Thriller Bark = Kuma = Brook)
(Lougetown = Smoker = Vivi)
(Enies Lobby = Garp = Franky)and now
(Thriller Bark = Kuma = Brook)
WTF did Vivi have to do with Logue Town?
I think that your comparison chart may be flawed.
