Batman & Robin suffered in some of the same aspects (sans Kirsten Dunst in place of Alicia Silverstone) the only difference is Spider-Man 3 is rewatchable for some.
I liked Spider-Man 3. Wouldnt say it was the movie of the year, but I liked it.

I am leaning tward Superbad. I love that kind of humor. I loved Die Hard. I loved Transformers. I was not a fan of Ghost Rider. And I didnt see Ratatouille.
Damn. Pan's Labyrinth is probably my all-time least favorite movie. -.-

It's his opinion Zim as we've already seen in this thread there are going to be movies that came out between last & this year that some of us didn't like.
I guess I'm the only one who thought the special effects in Transformers was way too fast to make anything out.
I'll include Pan's Labyrinth in here, even though I saw it in 2006. I love that movie. There are a lot of movies that I want to see but haven't yet (Eastern Promises, No Country for Old Men, Persepolis, Waitress, the Host, Paprika), there were plenty I have and enjoyed. Hot Fuzz, Rataouille, Grindhouse, Enchanted, Transformers, 300, and probably others I don't remember. Ratatouille's at the top, though (technically edging out Pan's Labyrinth because of the year thing).
If you spoiler me, I will eat you with tater tots.
30 Days of Night for me. While not exactly a great or rememorable movie it was the most fun I had watching a horror movie in a long time.
I would've added Spider-Man 3 but the film just has too many flaws going against it and it wasn't as fun as 30 Days.
Saw IV ~ I expected it to be something like WE HAVE THE BALLS TO CRAVE YOUR MONEY WITH A FOURTH INSTALLMENT, but what the fuck! It blew my mind away! Also, it was my first time seeing a K-18 movie late at night at the theater, so quite the experience. And a song by X-Japan played during the end credits. The only thing that bugs me is that it took four movies to tell us that the game has only just begun harharhar

Best movie of 07 for me was definitely Juno.
Fantastic movie and if Ellen Page doesn't get nominated for a Best Actress Academy Award I will be seriously shocked.
Sadly, the most recent decent movie I know of was probably Borat. Nothing even mildly interesting has been made this year, really, at least to my knowledge.

No Country For Old Men for sheer levels of awesome manliness. The Darjeeling Unlimited comes in a close second, as Wes Anderson is the man.
Anyone who said SPIDERMAN 3 is definitely not the man, that was a fine example of what superhero movies shouldn't be.
I became hugely disappointed of how they managed Sandman in the movie. He had really cool scenes at the beginning, but then after Peter became possessed by the alien thing, his role was so turned down. And then we had that poor scene of the forgiving.
The only part of S-3 I enjoyed was the first fight between Peter and Harry as the Green Goblin. Then it all went downhill.
Those who said No Country for Old Men obviously didn't watch the last 20 minutes.

300- <3'd this movie one of the best movies i've seen better then i expected
transformers- well i felt it was chessy but still a good light hearted movie
knocked up - imo suffering from simpsons style stories all of the comedy at the start and just wrap things up at the end
super bad- again a movie i loved with some good laughs
die hard 4- well not a die hard fan but i really enjoyed this
potc3- well i felt it was better potc2 but was suffering from "well the orginal did better then expected lets throw up some sequels" syndron
harry potter - well i felt that the movies our losing the same appeal that the books had for me
i my faviourite would have to be either 300 or superbad
ugh i also forget the name of a terroist movie i watched as well meh

I admit, I didn't see many movies this year. I never do. XD;
But my pick is for Hairspray. It's not gonna win Best Picture or anything, but it was fun to watch, made me tap my feet, and I was smiling throughout the film. That means something to me.
Other than that, Transformers and TMNT made the old-school fangirl in me rather happy.
The fact that there IS more Futurama is a great sign. It wasnt meant for the theater.
Oh shit I forgot about Grindhouse. I think I laughed harder there then in Superbad.

And I never got to see Superbad or Hot Rod, but I hear they were hilarious. Hot Rod was really the only comedy I had my eyes on at the beginning of the year, not including Pirates 3 which I had my sites set on since like last year.
