Most "Worthless" Anime/Manga/Game character

No, this is something different from a character you hate. Let me tell you in summary, characters in a series through your opinion that seem to serve no purpose, just seem to be created for gimmick-ish purposes, or characters that sometimes give a feel as if they're just created as fangirl/fanboy bait or has no impact upon the story's development or the progression whatsoever.. Nevertheless, vote here for the most "Worthless" or alias "No-purpose" anime/manga/game character here.

Absalom (One Piece) – He never really had much of a purpose as one of Gekko's men in my view. Seemed more of some furry with a fetish for human woman.

Ten-Ten (Naruto) – As if I'd fucking forget her ass. No development, no backstory, no nothing.

Absalom is Oda's attempt for fanservice for women. Seriously, he could have done more in his role as leader of the General Zombies.

In OP, I was never a huge fan of Vivi; Hildon was overrated too (although I suspect much of that came from fandom over-estimation early on).

In ES21, that chariot-bump guy was annoying; his existence basically justifies one scene.

Well, Ten Ten did actually have something of a purpose. Kishi had already established that genin teams needed 3 people for the chunnin exams. So he had to have a third character for team Gai. But I get what you mean; Ten Ten was basically a filler character, and she's served no real role in the story. As a background character she's fine, but when stuck on the same team as guys like Lee and Neji she really stands out.

Sakura is an important part of Naruto and has been highly involved in the story. She's an integral part of it, and not "worthless" in the sense that Daisuke CP9 was talking about. Yamamoto's VC. Doesn't help that Ichigo one shotted him (along with Isane and Omaeda) and that we didn't even get his name till it was revealed in one of the data books.

He did absolutely nothing that mattered during the entire hunter test, then he basically vanished until York Shin, where he was basically walking around and using his cell phone to help Gon, and then he vanished and hasn't been seen since.

I wish Togashi would do something cool with him since I like the "loud, angry idiot" types, but as far as I'm concerned, he never did. Feels like a waste of a cool character design.

It's fact Usopp is the WEAKEST, Oda himself said he will always be physically the weakest of the Mugiwaras, and gets his ass kicked in parts like his fight against Jyabura until the point Sanji saved him, but he is useful.

Never said he wasn't weak, Oda said so himself (I read that interview, too), but this thread is about being "worthless", not weak. Big difference. If Usopp was worthless, he'd have left the crew long ago. Look at Vivi.

And for the record, Usopp isn't weak, he's the most "human" of the characters. He's weak for an OP pirate, but for a normal human, he's pretty damn strong.

Yamcha was worse than Usopp. Yamcha never won a fight (unless there was one in Dragonball I missed, which I haven't read all the way through yet). At least Usopp has won fights, and has been a general source of encouragement (despite his negativity) for the crew.

Plus, he's Luffy's best friend. That alone negates his worthlessness.
