Does he need one?
Like seriously, I kinda just want a dude with no childhood traumas to overcome on the crew. I guess I'm the only one

Technically he already has one or two "traumas". The loss of his whole crew, and beeing stuck in the fog for 50 years.. shadowless for the last 5.
but Skarlath: his flashback doeesnt need to go as far back as his childhood.
I just want a dude who was a pirate and awesome
Although we still don't know who killed his crew, so there is future material
Perhaps the person who defeated Brook´s old crew will be the next big enemy.
Perhaps it was Whitebeard, the only OOOOOLD fellow that comes to my mind, or who knows, maybe it was Roger…
I somehow think Lafitte is connected to Brooke. I dunno why, it's just a hunch. Crane seemed to hint that he's older than he appears, and that he was notorious in West Blue. Plus, they both use canes and are tall, lanky men. It's possible that cane style fighting may be popular in the part of West Blue that they both come from.
@Fire Fist:
Crane seemed to hint that he's older than he appears,
I don't remember her saying that.
I've been re-read Thriller Bark, and I believe Brook has a bounty now, From
Chapter 455, Page 9
But the overall strength is depedent upon the body's physical stength.
When a strong body is fused with a strong shadow, an even stronger Zombie Warrior is bron!
That is the reason why Moria is so easer to go afte those with Bounties on their head.
Since he went after Brook, and even put him in body such as Ruuyma's, Brook has to have some kind of bounty. Atleast Franky, or Soge King's high.
Moria didn't go after Brooke. Brooke just happened to find TB in his own.
Like Brooke said, he teamed up with the folks that Moria was going after, so it's not surprise that after causing a ruckus Moria would put his shadow in the body of Ryuuma.
