i'm in a mellow mood. very very mellow. and i love robin-chan. but i guess everyone knows that already.

this shitty, not-cleaned-up-very-well doodle is called "time stops when our eyes met." hence the snapshot ^^

E1n– I like how you made Robin seem very serene and much like herself and yet a little shy, it's really cute. And I like that you're drinking espresso, sort of the current equivilant of a romantic little cafe, but more casual. Just a nice feel to the whole thing, you should clean it up (since you think it's messy), it deserves it. :)

Annnnd here's something I doodled out last night while looking through a gallery of Adam Hughes art. Spent the rest of last night and most of today coloring it; not my regular style, but I needed a bit of a change up. It's also the first thing I've drawn in about three weeks, so I'm really happy my block seems to clearing up. :)

E1n-- Thanks. :) And hey, after seven years of private art lessons I'd hope I'd have some sort of coloring skills, anyway. Frankly, I think your lineart kicks mine's butt; you don't need color in your drawings, they stand up perfectly well in black and white, which is actually pretty hard to pull off. I'm jealous. ;)

Digitaldreamer– Those are really cute, I really love the dynamic between Luffy and Zoro's friendship. :)

Did another picture in the 'miscellanous comic artist' style, this time it's Sanji in the style of one of my favorite artists, Mike Mignola. The noir feel was sort of in keeping with Sanji's darker moods, I felt, and I was listening to that song they're playing in the Sin City commercials right now, which added to it. ;) And I admittedly lifted the composition almost totally off of one of Mignola's original pieces, but honestly, once I'd seen it I couldn't imagine the picture being any other way, it was just too perfect. So spank me, I'm horrible.

Here's something that i just worked up. lol i did it kinda fast.

Luffy is here jumping like Mario, Zoro died from a Goomba, Sanji is going down a Warp Pipe, Usopp is a Super Star, and Chopper is a Super Mushroom.

I can't believe that i drew this. It's just a joke pick so enjoy it is guess cuz its my first submit… and oh yeah. it was done on paint ^_^ lol :lol:

Thanks, e1n, coming from Robin's number one fan, that's a great compliment to get. :) And I know, I'm horrible! Poor Usopp. If I had any confidence in drawing him whatsoever I'd try to bash something out really quickly, but I think I've drawn him once ever and he looked terrible, and that seems pretty lame for a birthday gift. Sigh. I'll just have to give him an IOU along with everyone else since…. well Tashigi, I think. >_<
