! So do I. I'm going to guess that the Root will fall and only the named people of the future will survive and not be P.O.W.s. Maybe a couple named people die as well, but I think the Root will take a major hit.
new chap is up
i think the art-guy is a really nicce villain…the fight can sure be interesting..
also that they`re invaded right now sure brings us some rly nice fight in which each one can show his abilitys.
I like how these fights take very little time like an actual death match would. Nice to see a simple way of ending things rather than a long drawn out process where nothing really gets done.
That Boss character is totally a rip-off of Lucci. Even the opening sequence of the fight was a rip-off.

Wut? How d'you figure?

why because they punched each others fist??????
and the only resemblance i could see was he had scars on his face that looked like the scars on lucci's back
It's not a rip off. Never crossed my mind ONCE while I read this chapter.

Yup, just like in your avatar. So I guess that make's Killerbee's giant gorilla friend a Rob Lucci rip off.
anyhoo… Kyle is sweet. I hope he doesn't get taken out.
Emo looking character with barren personality and a conceited disposition with the beginning move being a charge and hitting of this fists with shock waves surrounding both opponents.

You do realize that those are common character traits, and a common shounen action? I suggest you read more stories besides One Piece (which is pretty recent and cliche) before start talking.
You're the reason 4chan hates One Piece fans.:ninja:
Am I the only one who thinks that this manga features Kyle and the rest of the root kids more than it should?

possibly….....
is the guy fighting kyle the ice gun dude?

wait… Rob Lucci is Emo looking?

I like them getting featured. It adds some needed variety
Finally caught up on Psyren last night, and I must say, this manga is one of my personal favorites now. The characters are well-done, especially some of the villains.

I personally think that having the Root kids featured is important, as it shows how they change when Ageha and company change the past. I'm still trying to figure out how blowing up the research facility changed the future that drastically, though.

It wasn't just that. Ageha's sister and dad became involved with Elmore Woods too. That, and Ageha and Amamiya don't return again. There's also Matsuri disappearing with Kagetora, and then Kirisaki and Vaan getting trained by what's-his-name. I'm probably forgetting something else important too…

Yeah, Ian's training, along with Ageha's sister and dad joining Elwood changed stuff too. My bad.
I just read through the whole series, and right now I'm wondering if it's impossible to travel to the future if your future self is still alive. (living in the future)

i was under the impression that if you go to the future you can't meet your future self because you went to the future thus your present self would not be able to progress into the future because you're already are there.
!
Just think of it as "the future that occurs if we never return from Psyren trip #blahblahblah."
They don't appear to be running any predestination bullshit, the future is literaly what they make of it.
nice chapter, except for one thing…
when the coin baddie was tearing into the civilians, and kabuto was just walking, it was badass, but at the same time I wanted to scream "HURRY YOUR ASS UP!" I mean, people were kinda getting killed, you'd think he could be quicker.
Chapter 121 is out
! yay dady come to the rescue
, i wonder how strong he is
his dad doesn't get old?
Wow nice Ageha dad :P, well the old women didnt lol.
This villans were looking like fodder but they are actually turning the tables now it seems.
Kyle is so cool.
This level of upcoming battle and the type of training that Ageha and Amamiya are taking really makes it seem like this series will finish in a few years. I'd guess between 100 - 150 more chapters.
I like how Amamiya is training with Ageha so she won't be left behind power wise.

What about Asaga though? Can't wait to see that Dragon in action.
I was speaking more of the fact that Amamiya is a female, likes Ageha, and still wants to be at Ageha's level. In comparison to other female main characters in shounen who are nowhere near the main protaganist's power.
But yeah, Asaga has been missing for a while and I'm looking forward to seeing how he's progressed.
I'd rather see how the other guy they lost besides dragon guy evolved… forgot his name, he had some heal skills and was an actor, right?
Oboro, will probably show up next arc once they fight Wise.
Yeah, the one Ageha's ister had a crush on. Wasn't he experimenting himself with tavoo parts? I do wonder when he'll return.
His name is Oboro.
Chapter 126 is out. I get the feeling that the editors have told the author to wrap it up, and prepare to end. It just seems like it's going in that sort of direction. Sort of like this war is the last arc or whatever.
I doubt that.
There is no way they can beat Grana right now.

That's what all this nova hyping stuff is about. They're going to say… whatever the main characters name is father couldn't reach his level of power, because of some random reason. Then his black orb or whatever is going to be extra powerful, and they'll end up beating Wise. How else would they rescue Marie and get away?
They still have to defeat them in the past/present (at least I always thought that's how it was going to go). And they may end up making them stronger by accident when being pulled into the future again.
Everyone welcome back my favorite character, Oboro!!!
This series is shonen as it could be, full of shonen clitches at every chapter wrapped up with unstable and DEM time travel clitche what resets any development after every arc.
But art is top notch and some charecters are pretty neat, but story itself is discrace, its no wonder why this series is always at bottom at Shonen Jump TOC and I guess it will get axed before reaching 200 chapters.
Everyone welcome back my favorite character, Oboro!!!
Yes! Oboro!!!
Poor Fredrica, though. She was one of my favorite characters.
Does anyone else fear that Psyren may be falling into the trap of quick power ups as of late while neglecting other characters? I don't like Nova as it's bordering on a dragonball/saiyanesque type power-up, nor do I like the convenient time dimension thing they are in created by Ageha's father. I'll wait until this arc is over to pass judgement, but I don't like where things are going. The pace before was quite nice, but things are speeding up way too quickly. I especially don't like how they are facing their top enemies right now. Hopefully they will all fail, and get back to the present with great losses.

I think it's pretty clear this series is wrapping up. Well for a first series it wasn't bad at all. I'm sure the author will take this as an experience and come up with an even stronger series.
Am I alone in finding the characters bland and the action lacklustre in this series?
Am I alone in finding the characters bland and the action lacklustre in this series?
No, quite the contrary you represent majority and most have simply dropped this series long time ago.
Any fans left who know where to find scanlations?
A new chapter is up. Ageha enters into a black nova state. Time for the final battle I guess?
Psyren started good, but I think they explained the whole thing too quickly. I would've preferred more of them actually playing the psyren game as it was intended to be played, instead of quickly starting to go after the guys in charge.
