Another stupid Logia Discussion

Look at the image.
He is getting shot from behind. His body looks solid human all over except the points where the bullets pass through him where there is just a hole with some flames comeing out of it.

To be entirely sure he is unhurt in that situation he must either be able to turn specific parts elemental by reacting to it instantanious when it hits, or turns all of his body elemental by will before he knows where the shots will land. Otherwise the pistolshots could very well hit him in a place he hasn't turned and cause serious injury.

Or at the very least, turn his chest area into fire.
OR on a less believabe note, reacting as soon as he feels the bullet touch his skin, and turn only in that spot :D

Except that he gets hit in his arms and legs as well which means turning just the chest is not what he did there. Did you even look at the image?

Yeah this is a bit what some of us has been argueing to be an option. Hell I even mentioned it in the post you quoted.
Btw: you know this contradicts with what you said previously about Smoker and Ace not haveing time to react when Luffy hit them in alabasta? :getlost:

Well, the Alabasta incident was bizzare and threw them off gurad :D
I was mostly kidding on my second point though. There are probably characters like that but not all Logias.

It's because Luffy's Magical Rubber gives him a second effect like Blackbeard's magical darkness, that being that his rubber brain is inmune to any logic known by man like actual rubber would be to to most things out there, so no Logia Logic applies to Luffy's enemies when they are caught off guard. :P

But actually, I think there's more to Luffy's RUBBER that meet the eyes. The thing of "second effects" shown so far in most fruits is pretty interesting.
