So, I stopped watching at the end of the Water 7 arc. I was curious about two things. I firstly, wanted to know if the fillers were actually WORTH watching (so many fillers aren't) and if they are worth watching, what episodes do I start back up with? I kinda forgot. Thanks!
So, I kinda wanna watch again. Help?

Which episode was the last you watched?
-
It was at the very end of the Water 7 arc. It was either the one where Luffy met his
! grandpa, or the one right after that.
-
The fillers were okay, watch them if you have time. You probably want to start at 316, the fillers go through 317-319 and the canon material starts again from 320-325, then the ice hunter filler arc we are currently in starts at 326.
-
You have plenty of time to watch the fillers…
-
The Ice Hunter arc, despite being filler, is actually decent.
-
In my experience, One Piece filler is never downright terrible. They could do a lot worse, especially for something that is giving Oda a chance to get further ahead lest we run into delays further down the line.
This filler isn't bad, i'd give it a shot. It revolves around the Strawhats' loyalty to their flag. They even show off some of the Thousand Sunny's new features (which, if what i've been told is right, would have come later, but I don't think it ruins anything that they used them now in the anime).
-
One Piece fillers are great compared to the fillers in many other anime shows, (naruto anyone?) so you might wanna give the current one a shot.
-
Naruto Filler isn't any worse than One Piece filler on average. The only really good One Piece filler arc to date has been G8. Every other filler arc has been pretty bad. The stand alone episodes are usually okay though.
But to the topic at hand… is this really necessary? You're like... what, ten episodes behind? Hit Vegapunk's download page and catch up for pete's sake. It's a 300+ episode shonen jump anime. You're not going to get lost for missing a few episodes.
Hell, in the really bad days of Drag-on Ball Z you could watch every third episode and not miss a thing.
-
I have always liked the One Piece fillers, except when it got to Enies Lobby and we had those 3 or 4 episodes of everyone's past all over again. I skipped that.
Other than that, I always watch the fillers. They're funny. -
I actually don't really like the "Ice filler". It just has a weird "non one piece feel". I've been getting that feeling ever since the post Enis Lobby fillers, and sometimes during Enis Lobby. It just seems that they keep over using the "DOOM" effects and stuff. It just doesn't have the same feeling as we had I got in all of the earlier parts of the series; like the East Blue Saga, Arabasta, Sky Piea, and Water 7. It's like the emotion and style are… gone. I don't even ever "watch 100% of an episode" anymore. I just skim through it, like I'm watching Naruto or Bleach.
But hopefully it will be fixed once they reach TB.
EDIT: Maybe it's the lack of endings, and super drawn out intros.

I like the current filler arc…its fairly decent, though there are some things I don't like about it...mostly about the One Piece characters jobbing.

indeed
I read somewhere that Oda actually wrote it, so that's coolplus this filler has my favorite fighting style hands down
(that would be the magnetic brothers)
it's pretty cool
-
The magnetic brothers kind of remind me of those "bad guy" Spanish dudes from Teen Titans who are + and - charges. It's humurous, to say the least.
But yeah, I like this filler. It's not too bad, I don't think. And if that's true that Oda did write it, I appreciate the idea around it even more.

Mas y Menos? I love those guys!
But yeah, I was gettin' that vibe, too, when I peeked at a little of the episode. -
This filler is about as goood as all OP filler so if you usually hate it, you'll probably hate this. I don't mind watching the filler, especially since i usually watch it in batches or not at all. From what I've seen OP always has watchable filler tho, unlike just about every other series.
-
I just watch every episode, filler or not.
As for the current arc, it's probably not a good sign when the most memorable scene was when Usopp was being assaulted by hundreds of flesh eating penguins. Still, it's got the Strawhats beating some assorted pirate asses, so I feel it delivers regardless
