I'm pretty sure they've been mentioned.
APC FTW, I wish there was more.
Damn straight.
And Ren and Stimpy are only gay on an episode-by-episode basis, going by what the creator's said.

You have to remember SpikeTV and their early animation block in general was handled badly, "Ren & Stimpy" was the best thing they had on there. And the best of the six episodes produced never got their chance to air.
Any non-Smurf "Smurf" characters possibly gay?
Is anyone from "Smurfs" gay?
Any number of them could be, but definately Vanity smurf.
Incidentally, I remember one episode where Smurfette was trying to find a romantic interest, and all her ideas kind of failed but she ended up settling for a close friendhip with one of them…but I don't remember who it was, I think it was Handy smurf. Or maybe it was Poet smurf? I think that's where this smurfy poem came from: "Love is like an onion, sometimes it makes you cry. Friendship is like a bunion, which grows over time." XD

That's less impressive when you remember that it shared the block with STRIPPERELLA
@Cap'n:

Hey, I liked "Stripperella" :sad:.
weren't Terrence and Phillip from South Park gay?
Hey, I liked "Stripperella" :sad:.
I'll admit that every now and then it had some clever lines
but still…. Stripperella.
Ralph Wiggum is gay. Watch the Simpsons movie.
Also Kaorin from Azumanga Daioh, Chikane from Kannazuki no Miko, and pretty much all the girls in Maria-sama ga Miteru.
Turns out my decision to not see The Simpsons Movie was one of the best I've ever made

dammit dammit DAMMIT
I see this EVERYWHERE I GO!
This is why it was canceled, this is 100% truth from the creator and people who worked on the show. Read this and read it good, I'm not repeating myself.
READ THIS, THIS IS THE REAL REASON REN AND STIMPY ADULT PARTY CARTOON WAS CANCELED. EVERYTHING ELSE YOU HEAR IS WRONG WRONG WRONG
John K was approached by Spike to do adult episodes of Ren and Stimpy. They told John k the gloves were off and he should give the fans their moneys worth. John had received tons of emails requesting episodes when he worked at Nick but wasn't able to do them. One of the episodes a lot of fans requested was Onward and Upward. Kids loved the gross jokes. Another request was by gay fans. A lot of homosexuals looked up to Ren and Stimpy saying that's how they lived or some such. The gross episode and the gay episode was combined into one. However, the gay joke was not received well, because people are so freaking homophobic sometimes so John K dropped any other gay jokes immediately. It was never brought up again.
Anywho, Spike asked for X amount of episodes for APC's first season and they got it. However Spunco isn't known for making deadlines so some of the episodes might have been late. This is why they went into reruns after two episodes XD
One of the episodes that was supposed to air in the first season was Naked Breach Frezy. This showed naked girls running around, nipples and all. John was told to put the nipples in the show by Spike's producers because they were a man's network. But thanks to freaking Janet Jackson at the Superbowl that one year, (im sure you all know what I'm talking about) the sponsors freaked out at the episode and backed out. This is why this episode never aired.
Ren and Stimpy APC got very high ratings. The real Ren and Stimpy fans who stuck with it to the end were very pleased. The rest of the Strip however was failing miserably and thus was removed, Ren and Stimpy and all.
I'm going to tell you something right now that might shock the crap out of you but again, it's 100% TRUE.
REN AND STIMPY APC WAS THE ONLY SHOW ON THE STRIP RENEWED FOR A SECOND SEASON.
They were sent the rest of the episodes and picked an air date. It was scheduled to air, I remember it. I remember looking forward to it. BUT about two weeks before the air date, Spike, for no reason, decided to postpone the episodes. I have no idea why and neither does John K or Spunco. The show never saw the light of day again but did come out later on a great DVD that's an awesome buy for any real Ren and Stimpy fan.
Basically, Spike screwed over John K just like Nick did. That's the bottom line The ratings were good, but Spike had other priorities and went back on their word. It had nothing to do with bad ratings or John K going too far.
Sorry but I needed to get that off my chest. I'm sick of everywhere I go seeing people presenting their assumptions as fact. What I told you is the real story. I've actually been in contact with John K in the past and he was very confused and upset about the whole thing. So.. yeah that's the real story.
Thank you and go back to your gay cartoon character thread.

Yeah too bad John K. is shit and your tearful outbursts trying to defend him just makes you look awful too
go send letterbombs to SpikeTV when you get done with Cartoon Network
Are you kidding me? Ralph is gay? I totally missed that writing my reply about Ren and Stimpy XD
Didn't he used to like Lisa? I'm surprised they'd do that.
I'll tell you one thing, John K. certainly has a great idea for a show that still hasn't been picked up (look at my avatar, hint hint).
And Spumco has its reasons for misssing deadlines, although I've only heard that was the case for "Ren & Stimpy". According to John K., when Spumco was working for Nick alot of the time the execs at Nick didn't like or understand the humor so they had to keep going back and redoing certain episodes. Accroding to John, Nickelodeon is the one that missed the deadline for "Stimpy's Invention", not Spumco, because Nick hated it and forced Spumco to take out the some of worst Ren "psychodrama" faces.
When they were working at Spike TV, John K. got some new young animators to work on the show with him that were originally "Ren & Stimpy" fans as kids. Unfortuantely, according to John K., the art schools these days don't know how to teach properly, so John had to spend time giving the new artists drawing lessons.
I know this has nothing to do with gay catoon characters, but I feel the same way Quexinos does, plus "Ren & Stimpy" is the main reason I became so passionate about cartoons early in my life and reading John K.'s blog is very entertaining.
hey isn't that George Liquior in your avatar?
if I ever strike it rich maybe I'll buy a cartoon from John K =P
he can make it just for me.
Batgirl's a lesbian. I forgot which Batgirl it is though.
@Kaimei-Karasuhebi:
that gay guy from Saber Marionette? :S
Hanagata Mitsurugi, yeah he is totally gay for Otaru XD And he doesn't even try to hide it….
@Anime:
c-3P0 Would be Gay if He were a Human.
Haha, the guy that played him was gay in real life…. But the one scene that really made me go "Holy shit, C3PO is flaming gay!" is in Clone Wars, where he reveals his 'shiny new self' and does this really gay pose...
Speaking of 3PO, there was this robot from Time Squad that obviously was a parody of him, so yeah, it's probably that the he, Larry, would be also gay if he was human.
Anyways, what about the guy that Ryuu from Shaman King "summoned " with his BIG FINGER? I think Ryuu is more of a Bi, but that random guy is a different story.
Time Squad was a shameless knockoff of Mr. Peabody
the robot and man were a gay couple who adopted the kid, I'm telling you
And do you mean the guy that gave them all a ride? I thought he was just in awe of picking up A LEGENDARY HITCHHIKER
@Cap'n:
the robot and man were a gay couple who adopted the kid, I'm telling you
It all makes perfect sense now.
did we talk about the Big Red Guy in Cow and Chicken?
@Cap'n:
And do you mean the guy that gave them all a ride? I thought he was just in awe of picking up A LEGENDARY HITCHHIKER
Enough Awe to make it out with Ryuu when nobody was watching them?…:blink:
Erhh, yeah, maybe that Guy is not gay at all.
Oh, and HIM from the PPG was pretty much gay, but I dunno if I already mentioned him.
…i don't remember anything about making out
maybe the anime had significantly higher volumes of gay than the manga
did we talk about the Big Red Guy in Cow and Chicken?
Big Red Guy was just a pervert. But it's possible he's gay.
I'm pretty sure they just had a goofy manhug and bid each other farewell with teary eyes.
Has Go from Giant Robo been mentioned?
PigUk4V014w
Yea.
we've all ready discussed Ren and Stimpy several times
Hope this wasn't mentioned before. I went to one website that lists gay cartoon characters. One of them was Disco Stu from the Simpsons. He said in one episode that he's dating the Pope. XD
DON'T KILL MY VOLUPTURE
Hey.
Stop cheating.
@Cap'n:
Turns out my decision to not see The Simpsons Movie was one of the best I've ever made
You're still missing out on it…
Does Jose from Fairy Tail count? I'd like to throw in Juda from Hokuto no Ken as well BTW.
How is Jose gay?
At all?
LIPSTICK! (16 chars)
Jose gives off the same vibes as "him" in PPG imo.
Timone and Pumbaa
They live in a paradise together, they adopt a lion cup
singing all day, Watch Lion King 11/2 they're so gay…
Pumbaa might be gay…didn't he reject that female worthhog in that one ep. of their show?
No one ever mentioned Jakotsu from inuyasha, he's a homo.
And also that Dio from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, he doesn't care about anyone but himself
Dio's not gay, he's just….a sex god.....
@Jedi:
And also that Dio from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, he doesn't care about anyone but himself
WRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!? But, yea, Dio's not gay.
Though Vanilla Ice is debateable; HE'S WEARING A ONE PIECE!
@Jedi:
And also that Dio from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, he doesn't care about anyone but himself
How is that gay
at best that's narcissism, or autoeroticism at super best
Now Dio's followers are all gay for him
Yeah, like Straights.
Heh. Ironic name.
Straights didn't follow Dio though
Yeah, but I remember him remarking about how beautiful he thought Dio was. He wasn't part of his army (probably as he thought he was dead), but he probably would of if he knew he was alive.
Plus he called his lazer eyes…like, "Sticky Eye Shot Beams" or something. I forgot it exactly, but it was possibly the gayest/least threatening attack name ever
@Komrade:

That was Dio's attack, yo.
Dio has too little regard for others to be considered gay or straight, although everyone is gay for Dio (including Jonathon and Abdul, explicitly.)
I'm barely half way through it, but I suspect Koichi in Part 4 of JoJo is gay for Josuke.
