Gay Cartoon Characters

I have many wonderful dreams I'd like to see fulfilled in the near future, one of them being the creation of an AMV (or series of AMVs) showcasing every gay character ever created. Now just about compiling every gay cartoon character is a never-ending task unto itself. And before I can even create an AMV I need to learn how to do so. But until then I invite all my friends to come and join me in discussing gay cartoon characters, let's bring them all here together .

"The Simpsons" basically confirmed Huckleberry Hound was gay, and I never really thought about it but when that Simpsons episode brought it up it became so obvious to me. He's a semi-depressed Southener who's always singing about this girl he yearns for named Clamentine tha doesn't exist and in every episode he has a new occupation. Why? Because 1950s American society was not very accepting of gays and in order to avoid getting lynched he never stayed in one place too long.

Now Snagglepuss, that's a gay cartoon character you can really wrap your finger around, he's my absolute favorite. Why do you think he's always getting shot at? Because he's a flamboyant Broadway-loving pink mountain lion with a little black bowtie, he has no qualms about his sexuality whatsoever. I'm starting to think that the idea for "Brokeback Mountain" came about when domeone said, "What if we put Snagglepuss and Huckleberry Hound together and made them real people"?

For future reference as long as I stay active on this thread I'll constantly be updating the first post with more characters whenever they come up. I'll be adding Mr. Simmons and that ninja girl from "Sgt. Frog" and Peppermint Patty and that one girl who always goes "Yes sir".

Also, what do you guys think of counting video game characters?

Naw, I don't see it, at the very least he's bisexual. I'll think about putting him in a "pending list or up for debate.

Lassuria from Reborn is confirmed. During his fight with Ryohei he keep talking about how nice his body is, and little hearts keep appearing around his head whenever he gets hurt.

And he's a family mother in an omake comic.

Some of these characters on the "confirmed" list are suspect. Like the "proof" yaoi fans point out to justify their defiling of characters. ^_^
