I always pictured him bleeding green, for some reason. Like the color of Wasabi. or Acid. Wasabi would be more interesting. Get it in Kenpachi's eyes.
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.

Didn't they remake that later with all of the Soul Society arc instead of up to a certain point? (probably two of them to tie with the two Jump Festa OVA..and this one probably was used as a Soul Society teaser alongside the first one which was a rendition of the Grand Fisher arc.) Regardless, its a nice reminder of everything that has happened so far…even with its lack of Mayuri.

That's actually what got me interested in the Bleach anime in the first placeBut still, I'm not current.. I'm only at the start of the arch after Soul Society.
(can't tell if it's filler or not.. but it seems like it) -
I just realized that both Naruto and Bleach are done by the same studio. Is that why the Bleach anime is ever so lame?

For me the Bleach anime is pretty decent at what I want an anime based off of an ongoing manga to do: take the cool scenes from the manga and makes them awesome and movey.
The anime generally does this pretty well (see: Ikkaku's Ryumon Houzukimaru).

They change it up from time to time, sometimes looking more ''natural'' then not.
From what I can see, they're lightening up a bit on that aspect.

He's jobbing, get used to it, he'll do it for a while.
The first opening is easily the best, IMO. Then probably the fourth after that. Bleach's upbeat openings are better than the emo garbage that we've been getting recently.

I liked Tonight, Tonight, Tonight by the Beat Crusaders and After Dark is pretty good. These I mean song wise anyway because the opening in general sucks.
The fight was SO uninteresting. And I love how it ended

I don't mind Byakuya's dialogue, largely because he only starts talking when people act like a little bitch towards him, e.g. Renji.
"…SIGH, PLZ DONT TRY TO FIGHT ME, I'M WAY TOO STRONG FOR YOU"
He just minds his own business the rest of the time.

Its strange that some of the worst openings have some of the best songs. I actually like "After Dark" as a song but the opening in itself was just wasted animation with only the stuff with Espada and Aizen (and the Desert Brothers) good. "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" isn't too bad either but I guess my problem is that its followed up by "Rolling Star", which just rocks.
Meh…Renji/Byakuya...did they have to make a battle that bad? At least the first new episode is Kenpatchi vs. Komamura/Tousen, which should be great.

The whole point of Byakuya vs. Renji was so that Renji could be fodder to demonstrate how strong Byakuya is. It's not like it was meant to be an actual fight.
I don't really dislike Byakuya anymore.

I remember Kubo using like, 15 pages to show Renji being hit and falling down during that fight.

I liked that fight based on the fact that Byakuya actually uses kidou (the magic stuff) during fights. No one else had done that yet and I was glad to see that it had an actual place in the world
