Im flying to Hawaii and other states pretty soon and im not really sure if I need to renew my Passport. I know I need to Renew it but Are they required to have both ID and Passport to fly in the US?

I'm gonna assume that obviously your not in America (duh), well anyway, I think that any international travel you only need your passport, considering it should have you picture in there anyway. Still it's better to be safe than sorry, and it is pretty important to carry around Identification at all times, so although it isn't "required" you still should carry both and ID and a Passport.
BTW which hawaiian island are you going to?

No, all you need is a valid photo ID, like your driver's license for instance… and your boarding pass.

Toshiya, the current big to do over passports is if people are traveling to Canada and Mexico. Until recently you didn't need one, but now you do.
