Unique or not, stereotypes are stereotypes [man, I remember a good deal of time ago Bevin told me what stereotype even means… memories]. Which means they're shallow, unjustified, and in case of anime just suck.

FTR, I dun think it's just anime. Other countries in general seem to stereotype the americans and the ones usually abit louder or less refined and pushier than everyone else. Probably because when you travel abroad the people in thebig crowds of tourist that are usually louder and pushier than everyone else ARE the american tourist.

American chicks being sluts? That's up for debate,but i don't recall ever meeting any women that was a virgin when she got married. Supposidly it's the standard in Japan or something? I also notice some American anime characters have annoying laughs into their system.

-Black Shaft - a black guy - actually the only real boxer on the team
-Monster Jail - a big guy on death row
-Miss Channel - a crossdresser
-Mick - a gang leader with sunglasses
-N.B. Forrest (manga)/Mr. Whitey (anime) - In the manga he's a member of the KKK (I think a descendant of Nathan Bedford Forrest)

I like how even a hyper-realism/fresco manga like Akira, which when depicting the US military, had japanese american agents, black guys and so forth in its naval ranks….

....somehow had the entire Special Forces team as blonde and blue eyed. The entire team. No exceptions were made.
