I can't see the point of them making a sequel. The first movie was a failure and even the fans look at it with disgust.

I thought the movie was OK, then again I'm not an avid X-Files fan.
Still this movie will prob. suck considering it falls in the category of 'using old shit just to make some cash cuz a majority of the world populace that don't post in forums are mindless, easily fooled movie goers'. -

I didn't follow the show so I couldn't tell you. But he was a big part of why that was one of the weakest films in recorded history.

X-Files was cool. A decade ago. Most, including me, won't probably remember what was going on in the story of it so the filmmakers has a quite big challenge ahead of 'em.
